Also not everyone lives that way all the time. My girlfriend really wants to travel and I told her what’s the point and that I would be okay if we did or didn’t and if I was with her or not I would be okay . It’s getting weird to navigate relationships with this state. For me I really got into drugs and diets , getting famous with music and instrgam all of this stuff because I was so anxious inside . I got everything I wanted and I felt even worse inside . I got into drugs heavily and finally decided to give up . I was done and just surrendered . It didn’t work and never will so now I don’t use escapism I use acceptance and I felt one with the universe and continue to come in this state . Peace of mind

While this concept is okay... but I believe the intent with which we seek our desires to materialize in this lifetime is the key 🔑. If the intent is to feel acceptable/accepted by the outside world, that can become discontent/ not enough, or there's nothing outside of our inner knowing/ knowledge that can make us feel
"ok" or " done." However, we can be " done" or have the sense of "doneness" when our desires have served more than our needs and spilled over to the grater good. As you already know and live that life yourself. With awareness and grounding, we can strive to get to the doneness of our lives in this lifetime. I'm talking from the point of view of a non-addict. I know a lot of your work has been to help elevate humans with one form of addiction or another. It's human nature to feel we haven't done enough, but being aware of that and knowing our mind is in our domain to train and direct we can live a fulfilling life. We can learn to surrender each day and moment to realize that. When Jesus said, " it's done," it was in the deepest sorrows of his earthly pain. We can do the same. Peace🙏

This image reminds me of Torrey Pines Gliderport in San Diego, CA. I used to sit on a bench and watch them. Thank you for the wonderful content. I always ask myself where I get the energy to keep going with healthy habits and routines some days. It’s me trying to be ok! I grieved so much over the loss of my career with disability, but now I see what a gift this all is. My entire career was built on a trauma response of trying to be ok. I’ve felt so lost but now I see that is actually found.

The image was created with AI and the prompt to create it was to create an image of the Turkish Steps on the southern coast of Sicily, Italy. So it must be similar to Torrey Pines Gliderport in San Diego, CA. Thank for your comment and sharing your deep understanding.

His lectures ring so true. In a way I'm glad that I strived to achieve things as my life is quite comfortable. I do enjoy the challenge of achieving goals and making healthy decisions. For me it would be nice to find a ballance of playing the game and achieving goals, while accepting that the journey is not always pleasant. To be at peace with that to me, would be true freedom.

I have always struggled with anxiety thoughts. Wether it is regarding my adult childrens health and decisions , my health, the past, present experiences with family, work ,future which isnt here yet. So many things list can go on . And like michael says 99.9 % of thoughts / fears did not happen. Also you cannot control or change everything or anyone. I do my best or give advice .I am more aware of my thoughts everyday. And i remind myself that i can be centered. And choose to be negative mindset or positive. There are experiences that are more difficult and upsetting than others. Like family members that passed away in a year. Michael does help me ❤.

Jai Guru Dev, Jai Masters. Jai Guru Dev is a traditional Hindu phrase that means Glory to the Great Teacher (the most accurate translation would be glory to the shining remover of darkness), where the great teacher here is generally considered to be the Divine Soul, while we, as human beings, are considered the individuated Soul. Jai Masters means Glory to the Masters, some of whom Singer refers to at times.

Can one surrender the pursuit of “okay-ness” yet still have goal-directed behavior ? If so, what motivates behavior if not focused on “okay-ness?” And isn’t attempting to open to Shakti still seeking “okayness?” (Like having a preference for letting go of preferences .) I do love Singer’s question to ask oneself, “What is it that’s governing the state of my mind ?”

Creativity comes from the Soul, from the Seat of Consciousness. Choosing clothes based on creativity is exactly where you want to be. Kudos to you! Mickey probably doesn't talk about this enough, the times when we get it right!

OK, NOT OK, kind of stupid. ENJOY YOUR MIND; ENJOY YOUR LIFE, and if you DO ENJOY ALL THAT IS YOUR LIFE, then you enjoyed ALL OF YOUR LIFE. Kind of reminds me of government: Call something a problem, then offer the solution.
