Over in Bellville, we found a baker who built himself a castle. Mike Newman has owned Newman's Bakery for 30 years but one day he wanted something bigger. Now he's got it.
When I was in high school my friend drove me to her friend's parents property. Back then it was the bridge and front face of the castle. I was blown away immediately! Through the years I would tell friends that there were building an actual castle in the middle of nowhere out in Belleville and people called me crazy. Ha ha here it is yall! Awesome, truly awesome.
Mike has inspired me to do pretty much the same. I've been searching for 5 - 10 acres in east texas and I'd love to build my own castle. I want mine to have a spanish/french colonial design to it complete with my own mini cathedral.
Wow I didn't know about the castle & I live less than an hour from Bellville. Thank you Shane for allowing air time for Mike to testify about the Lord!! Well, next time I ride my Harley, I'll definately be stopping in at Newman's Bakery & talking with him about the Lord!! God bless y'all !!
For quite sometime I used to cut through Bellville to go and see a dear friend in Schulenburg. I have had no idea that this was around as just the Bakery in passing by. Thanks!

Nothing more beautiful than a man confessing his love for Jesus. I walked this earth for 27 years without the Lord and I suffered greatly for it. I became a slave to my sins. After I was Godsmacked and awoken, the last 6 years of my life have been so peaceful and fulfilling. I'm still a sinner. Always will be, but I have the blood of the lamb to wash away my sins.
