I do tight line my upper lid when I'm going out/getting dolled up as it makes my lash line look much thicker and fills in any blank spaces between my lashes. So far, no issues.
Laura Rae, it is so wonderful to see your smile easing up and bringing us some positivity. I am intrigued with the Fiera. At 72 , I am always looking for a less is more look and that looks promising. Have a wonderful weekend…take good care and thanks for all you do for this community ❤💄

I have used eyeliner in the waterline occasionally, but I also recently read that having eyeliner in your waterline-upper or lower- can block the oil glands in your eyes and lead to problems such as dry eye or less tear production. No more anything in the waterline for me.
I'm waiting for my order of the Fiera concealer, so this is very encouraging. They were running a special on the concealer, and also included a concealer brush as a free gift. 😊
Hi Laura there are quite a few brands doing the heated bonnets but I think the first was a “hot head”. I do tightline as it really makes a difference to my smaller hooded eyes. I don’t put it near the tear duct and always remove it at night. It hasn’t caused me any issues. Best wishes x
For those who think the Daniel Sandler blush is expensive I wanted to share that it lasts a couple of years and looks beautiful. I highly recommend it!
I'm 68 and have stopped using eye liner on the waterline. While it did increase the intensity of my eye look, I eventually developed a stye, and feel certain the liner was the cause! Now I apply liner along the lash line, only! Enjoy your sensible yet striking beauty ideas!

Hi Laura, I do line my eyes in the waterline as I have very hooded eyes…it helps define my eyes and make my eyelashes look bigger and better. I make sure the product is made for waterline application so it doesn’t travel around and in the eye. Thanks for your videos.
This look is so beautiful on you! I'm 72 yrs old and still have a love affair with makeup. So many women my age have abandoned makeup altogether but I feel that with the right products, I can still enhance my aging face. Thank you so much for helping me find so many good products.
Hi, Laura! I have some of your current favorites, also. I bought the Fiera concealer some time ago and I love it, too! It STAYS where you put it! 😉 I WANT to get the new WnW skin tint. It sounds like just what I'd like! Hope you're having a wonderful weekend! (It's freezing here today! 🥶)
I'm 75.....getting mighty close to 76 ! ( about 3 wks.into April). Eyeliner is my must have. W/out it, my eyes almost disappear. Eyeliner makes my blue eyes more blue, appear larger, & make them more noticeable. I remember you said lipstick is what brightens up your face. I agree. Lipstick looks great on you! But I don't think it's flattering on me. It's the only makeup my mom used.....it's all she needed & it looked good on her. I don't put liner on the waterline, tho. There are glands there that secrete oil. And for me, when I put liner under the lower lashes, it makes my eyes seem bigger. I have experimented w/various liners. The gel twist-ups work best for me & I like gray. I used to use black but now I think dark gray is a better choice.
I never put eyeliner in my waterline below but on special occasions only because of eye problems I do tightline my pper lashes with a brown eyeliner to make my lashes look thicker without takint up any lid space!! Very ggood look for older eyes!!!
Concealer is a product I am always chasing. I don’t know that I have been 100% satisfied with any brand. Shades are also difficult. Thank you for demonstrating the Fierra. It seems amazing!
Thank you for demonstrating the Fiera Concealer! I bought some a few months ago when it was on sale, and now I believe they have permanently lowered the price. It is well worth it! By the end of the day, it does collect in my bigger wrinkles under my eyes, but I think part of that is the many powders I've tried setting it with. I'm SO glad you said you do NOT set it with powder at all! I'm going to try that! I guess I never gave it time to dry down. Hopefully this will be a game changer! But it is already the best concealer on my 62 year old undereyes.
Your eyes look beautiful today...I love this make up look on you. Its classy & the tones really suit you. Very chic great skin look. 🎉 love it! Edit: P.s. I just turned 56 yrs old & I love this channel. Its a great communuty to come find & give beauty tips. So happy I found you. 🥰😘
The recent product additions that I have been enjoying: Elf Tubing Mascara, Haru Haru Wonder Sunscreen, and Sephora Lip Liner in Clear. I'm also Team No-Liner-in-the-Waterline as it can cause blocked tear ducts and other eye issues. I am going to buy the old Clinique Touch Base for matte eyelids the next time I'm shopping. I have not had it for at least 25 years, so it will be different on my aged eyelids. Also, I am interested in the Fierra concealer.
Hi Laura Rae! Your eyes look wonderful! I must try that mascara! I like the eyeshadow, too. I've been trying the skin tints...mixed feelings. I need more coverage, but I don't necessarily like using concealer so much with the tints. Medium coverage radiant foundations are my favorite - the ones that stay all day are Dior Forever Skin Glow and L'Oréal Infallible Pro Glow (its dupe). It's fun to try new things, but I always go back to those...Sephora eye liners, a lash curler, Revolution cream bronzer, Nars blush, Kosas Revealer Concealer, Milani blurring powder (or Givenchy Prism Libre), ELF waterproof brow pencil. Those are my daily must-haves.
Thank you for all of these fabulous recommendations. I love the Loreal Pro Glo too. It works so well and lasts all day. I haven't tried the Dior Forever Skin. I need to give it a try and do a comparison to see if it lasts as well as the Loreal. xoxo

Guilty- I wear it in the waterlines sometimes and I shouldn’t since I have dry eye. Think it makes my blue eye pop- doesn’t do much for the hazel one (yep have two different colored eyes). I also tried the nude color on the lower waterline and it makes my eyes look huge. Like big Twiggy eyes (now really showing my age). But as I’ve gotten older I do try to avoid waterline lining!

I’ve been using the Dynasty Cream for a couple months. I really like it. Hyaluronic acid can be drying when you live in a desert climate. Instead of drawing moisture from the air, which there is hardly any, so the moisture will be drawn from the deeper layers of your skin. Hard to find a moisturizer without it anymore. I use a couple of hydrating toners, and use a thin layer of moisturizer then SPF. So far, don’t notice any drying from HA, but avoid using if it’s high on the ingredient list. I just recently learned about how HA can have an opposite effect, in dryer climates. Luckily my skin is normal and not dry. I’d love to try out that concealer, it woks really well on you ! I’m excited to try that concealer! Thanks! I had seen Angie (Hot and Flashy) suggest using a light color on the lower waterline. Been using that for a year, it can be a foundation if you apply it thin. Good stuff!
For anyone who has the skin of their eyelids now drooping to their lashes, like mine, so that effectively the entire mobile lid is covered, putting eyeliner in the upper waterline is a game changer. Eyeliner on my upper lid is not only 100% covered by my drooping skin, it smudges and doesn't show at all. But tightlining makes me look like I have eyeliner on and really puts emphasis on my eyes. The key is trial and error to find one that doesn't transfer down. Once you find one and try it you will be shocked at the difference.

The skin tint looks great on you! I have moved on from foundations and am really enjoying skin tints as I was a more sheer coverage. Right now I enjoy the wet and wild bare focus as well as the revlon illuminance skin tint. I really want to try the pixie H2O skin tint but it is like 25 bucks! If you or anyone has tried it, please let me know your thoughts. Thanks!
I tried the Pixie a long time ago. I would need to re-try it to give you a good response. My tastes have changed so much over the past couple of years, and it has been at least three years since I used it. xoxo
The look turned out great Laura! I was wondering which wet and wild your using as you show it in a bottle but it comes up in a tube in the description box?
Laura, is your heating cap heavy? I have one but it's so heavy! It's not very comfortable because of the weight. Yours looks like it isn't heavy. Mine is filled w/ flaxseeds & weighs close to 2 lbs.
This one has flaxseeds too, but I didn't think it felt super heavy. I wear it around while I am cleaning house and I have some neck issues and it didn't bother me. xoxo
I just checked my links and it is still available. I’m not sure if it’s just because of the area where you live, but you might want to check my link again. I hope it’s available for you!❤️❤️

Hi Laura! I’m 64 and I don’t use liner in my waterline. Okay, I just have to know, did you put a shimmer shade on your eyes after the video?😂 thanks for showing these great products
Thank you so much for letting me know. The link is fixed. I appreciate you so much!❤️❤️
I found out that L'Oreal is discontinuing its loose hydrating powder. It was my favorite. Do you know of any affordable dupes for it?
I will have to get started looking. That was one of my mom's favorite powders. I found it in her makeup drawer. It really is amazing! xoxo
How do you clean the heating cap?
I haven’t washed it yet. I wear a clear plastic cap underneath it so it has kept it clean.❤️
What do you find the differences are between the Wet and Wild tint and teh L'oreal serum tint?
Sounds like I need to do a wear test! Thank you for this great idea. The video will be coming soon! xoxo
I wear it around while I am cleaning house and I have some neck issues and it didn't bother me. xoxo
@@LauraRaeBeauty thank you! 😊 💆♀️
You have eyelids. Those of us who have very hooded lids can’t sacrifice the small space with a liner; therefore a tight line really helps
I have always thought hooded eyes are so beautiful! A principal at my school had hooded eyes and I always wished mine looked like hers. xoxo
😊❤
Great video, unfortunately that concealer is not available ‼️🥴
I just checked my links and it is still available. I’m not sure if it’s just because of the area where you live, but you might want to check my link again. I hope it’s available for you!❤️❤️
@@LauraRaeBeauty thank you , will try again probably just a Canadian thing 🌞💃🏻🎺🎺🎺
Hi Laura! Great video with so many new possibilities for trying new products. The under eye area is my biggest challenge. You look beautiful as always and we all love you!! ❤

I don't use eyeliner in my waterline. Never thought it was good for your eyes. I'm 53 years old. So young people can call me an old fogie. I was young once.
I must be the only person Fiera does not work for. It creases immediately. Bummer.
I cringe when I watch ladies line the water line 😬
