On the Bellagio fountains. If you go to the concierge desk inside the Bellagio, they will give you the schedule for the day, saying which tunes come on at what time. I always do this when I am in town. Their routine for Mancini’s ‘Pink Panther’ theme is brilliant, and I like to know when its on.
The greed from every corner in Las Vegas is like no other place on earth. It’s common for cocktails to run $25; minibars, parking, resort fees which make zero sense, outrageous expected tips 25% to $35, and the ATM fees. If you bring kids or teenagers give them a STIFF WARNING not to touch the little fridge or any drinks that make sit on a shelf. A neighbor visited with a 9 and a 17 year old. The adult couple went to a very late show, leaving the kids to watch movies and play video games. They had all eaten so any thoughts that the kids might dig into the snacks escaped them. Upon returning the candy bar wrappers, empty chip bags, and pop cans were all over. The kids thought it was all FREE with the room. Total charges $225. Who knew a Snickers cost $7.50, a can of Dr Pepper $6.50, Fiji Water $10 etc. and they were charged for items moved but not consumed.

Yeah it doesn't have the big shows or buffets, but they are upgrading soon, I love their location, and the GO Pool is part of your resort fees, I love it! And the history. By the way, funny thing. I heard you say "Wooder" for Water. and I was like, they east coast like me! The next bit, you mention your from Boston. Philly here! I buy my wooder at the ABC! There is also one on Fremont down at the end before the plaze to the left.

We have made a few of these mistakes lol It’s not a good feeling to have high heels on and the escalator is broken The food portions are pretty big, so split a meal( is nice to add some extra tip as your taking up the table) Bring sanitizer Utilize Ubers & monarail . You'd need to drive of course but we bring a case of water, beverages, and snacks every trip. We always stay at a hotel with kitchen such as signature, vdara, or homewood suites. There are so many options now compared to back in the day.

Heck your checking account policies. I have a TD Bank Checking Account. They have refunded every ATM fee I’ve ever paid. The highest in Vegas was $11.99 and they credited my checking account within two weeks.

According to the MGM site, yes you can. “Your 24-hour parking fee provides you with in-out privileges within the same parking type (self or valet) across all MGM Resorts Las Vegas destinations within the same 24 hour period (subject to availability)” so I’m not sure if they would ever turn away due to being full.

At the strat just be aware that if you are handicapped that they will not take you on their shuttle to downtown. The Residence Inn near the convention center the rooms and the doors are not designed for handicapped people in wheelchairs.
ATMs. Ok, so don’t use casino/hotel ATMs or hotel stores. But if you’re going to an ABC store or Target, are their ATMS over priced? Do those stores have ATMs?
ABC might and the fee will be a little bit less. It is a decision of the risk to bring cash, pay crazy atm fees, or do a long walk/ride share to a bank atm which might be a couple of miles from the strip. I agree with them and it is worth it to get a bank account that they will reimburse ATM fees. I have Schwab that does that.
If you want to avoid the outrageous resort fees check out the hotels on Paradise Road close by Sphere. Embassy Suites has large rooms, free breakfast, free shuttle, and a short walk to the Strip.

Vegas was fun until like 10 years ago, now every place is trying to rip you off with extra fees, and the whole place is like a giant meat market from the strip to downtown. I wouldn’t go there unless if I must have to.

Should be 15%. But if you work in a service industry, the feds assume you are making 20% on top of your income, and start investigating if they don’t get that. Untill this changes, I always tip 20%. Some don’t like tipping at all, thinking employers should pay more, so that it’s not needed. However that may be, I think that in the current situation, you have to give people a break with the feds.

Dude!! I just went for my first time!!! Get a cooler back back!! Put 2 bottles of whatever you want!! Park at the westgate!! Monorail wherever you want!!! And if you’re gonna uber, go for uber premium or atleast uber comfort! Do not go cheap!!! Don’t pay for drinks and know how many drinks it takes you to blackout!! You never want to black out in vegas!!! Know your limit!! That is crucial!!! And have fun man!!!!
Resort fees are not a part of my vocabulary....Want to see me go in the opposite direction, just tell me you have resort fees and you'll see it guaranteed, EVERYTIME without fail....Luckily for us when going to Vegas we do the motorhome thing so resort fees or high room prices are not an issue....2ndly, aint no hotel or anybody else for that matter putting a hold on my credit card even just once in this lifetime...They can stick that arrogance where the sun dont shine and like it...I do love the Vegas buffets although some of them have become fairly expensive also....Yet compared to a sit down dinner its probably still a bargain ...And i gotta wonder what will happen in court the first time someone sues the city for that stopping on that overpass thing....Your taxes paid for that , i gotta believe you have as much access to it as anybody else....If your not creating a problem somehow, i dont see that sticking...As far as aggressive time share reps go, they only as aggressive as you allow them to be plain and simple....If i say no, they're going to know i mean it ....PROMISE...Wanna be aggressive ??? Dude!! I just went for my first time!!! Get a cooler back back!! Put 2 bottles of whatever you want!! Park at the westgate!! Monorail wherever you want!!! And if you’re gonna uber, go for uber premium or atleast uber comfort! Do not go cheap!!! Don’t pay for drinks and know how many drinks it takes you to blackout!! You never want to black out in vegas!!! Know your limit!! That is crucial!!! And have fun man!!!!

Resort fees are not a part of my vocabulary....Want to see me go in the opposite direction, just tell me you have resort fees and you'll see it guaranteed, EVERYTIME without fail....Luckily for us when going to Vegas we do the motorhome thing so resort fees or high room prices are not an issue....2ndly, aint no hotel or anybody else for that matter putting a hold on my credit card even just once in this lifetime...They can stick that arrogance where the sun dont shine and like it...I do love the Vegas buffets although some of them have become fairly expensive also....Yet compared to a sit down dinner its probably still a bargain ...And i gotta wonder what will happen in court the first time someone sues the city for that stopping on that overpass thing....Your taxes paid for that , i gotta believe you have as much access to it as anybody else....If your not creating a problem somehow, i dont see that sticking...As far as aggressive time share reps go, they only as aggressive as you allow them to be plain and simple....If i say no, they're going to know i mean it ....PROMISE...Wanna be aggressive ??? Will show how its done and again, I will mean it if they wanna push it that far...Been there, done that.....

Thanks for sharing. We aren’t sure what bus you are referring to, but the public Duece bus does run along the Strip all the time.
