Scaredy Pants is actually pretty fun, because you think it only applies to Luigi since he's a known coward, but how exactly do you stop a Boo from attacking you? You look at them, and they hide themselves. They too are timid in nature, and I think it's kinda fun that the two cowards of the roster both kinda get roasted here.
You make a great point! That was cool of them to call out their shyness. Though they should've used a word like "Shy" in the team name instead of "Scared" because it makes them look like a weak team in my opinion. But regardless I do like how they used a common trait for Luigi and Boo's team name!

‘Power Couple’ for Mario & Peach, ‘Partners In Crime’ for Wario & Waluigi, and ‘Awkward Date’ for Daisy & Waluigi would’ve worked so much better.
I think some of those names were used for them in Mario Party 6. But I agree those would be better!
I love how Yoshi and Daisy's tag name unintentionally implies that Yoshi is actually a girl because of how the word tomboy is used.
I always loved that one, but tbf I'm biased cause I always play as Daisy and have Yoshi as my teammate, so that one is pretty ingrained in my head

I like that so many of Luigi's include different dance names, adds a bit of implied depth to him as a character

In super mario party for switch, if you are waluigi or have him in your team, it is actually Luigi who does the dancing rhythm minigame, so Luigi got the moves canon!
The Marionette name is actually a real word which is like a wooden puppet I’m pretty sure that’s what there going for.

Nintendo did NOT have to cook so hard with most of dry bones' team names, but they did anyway.
My favorite of the team names is probably "Cry Bones", I know it only really changes one letter from "dry bones", but I dunno, I think it just sounds really funny. It also plays with Luigi's cowardly personality and it represents dry bones well for obvious reasons. Again, most of dry bones' team names are goated in my opinion, but that one stands out as my personal favourite.
I agree Nintendo went hard with the names! And honestly that's a fair take! I went back and forth on whether I liked "Cry Bones" or not, but I definitely could see the appeal!
Daisy's and Waluigi's team name in Mario Party 5 was way better. "Awkward Date", now that's fitting! :D

Hold up, Creature Feature (Boo + Dry Bones) is gotta be S tier, it’s a reference to back in like the 60’s-80’s they would show classic horror movies like Frankenstein and Dracula. And Boo and Blooper are creepy characters in a sense. It’s your list but I’d personally have them in S tier
Love that analysis! If I thought about it that way I probably would've had them in a higher tier for sure! "Creature Feature" is for Boo + Blooper actually, so don't know if that changes your perspective at all, but still solid reference nonetheless!

So I calculated a sort of "ranking" of each character by asigning each tier a specific point number:
S = +3
A = +2
B = +1
C = -1
D= -2
F= -3
My math might not be perfect but Im tired and I dont feel like doublechecking.
Birdo is our grand loser by a longshot with a whopping -14 points.
Yoshi is next with -8 points.
Waluigi and Boo are next with -4 points each.
Toadette got -3 points.
Luigi is the last of the negatives at -1 point.
Toad is the first point number in the positives at 3.
Daisy got 4 points.
Peach and Wario both got 6 points.
Mario is next with 9 points.
Hammer Bro got 10.
And tied for the grand winner are Dry Bones and Blooper, who both got 12 points.

Labeling Toadette as a double agent is honestly not that out of place. Throughout the Mario games, there have been subtle implications that Toadette is up to something.
It has been implied that Toadette is secretly working with Wario against the Mushroom Kingdom twice.
It has been implied that Toadette likes treating her workers as objects twice.
Toadette has a power-up that allows her to turn into a perfect replica of her kingdom's current ruler.
I'm guessing Dry Bones and Hammer Bro both just really like Stewie Griffin

I always liked how Mario Party 8 offered team names for every pairing. It's a nice touch to make the game special, even though I rarely do team battles.
I don't know if I have an actual "favorite"; ones I dig are Mario Bros., Fungi Fun Guys, BBQ Ribs, and Green Machine.
