I got the same set up in my car except I got hifonics Goliath 4k and I love it don't know why people hate on hifonics they are a good brand that been around over 30+ Years. Anyways nice set up Mark keep the videos coming
I like it not bad. I like the hifonics amp seems to push those subs pretty good. I liked seeing the meter in use. A 140 isnt bad for an affordable hifonics amp pushing those 2 12 elites.
It matters what your head unit is, if his has a 2v preout and yours is 4v preout you'll need less gain, and vise versa. Line output converter same thing if you use a shitty one vs. Quality
Ok I just bought 2 of these American bass elite 12's and I was thinking of running them with a scar rp 2000 amp but people say that amp runs hot at 1 ohm. What amp do you guys recommend????
@@markwoods212 see, thats what I'm talking about, love my Taramps amplifiers, but everytime I bring them up, everyone talks shit saying they trash, they burn up fast... etc etc etc. Only Amps I ever use are anything sundown, taramps, or hifonics, old school Rockford Fosgate amps work in a pinch as well

Ive had a couple different hifonics amps there not bad
It really sounded better than I expected but we did get it to 141 which is a good starter number.
I had a 1500 watt hifonics it wasnt bad but now I'm rocking a Orion 2500 you know we always want more power lol.
That orion 2500 is a beast 💪

Skar Rp.2000 would be great. Other than that maybe the Taramps 3k or VFL2k
I heard from a few people that the scar rp2000 runs hot at 1ohm and shuts off
I never had one myself but I had them on my Rockville DBcomp4 3k and it slammed for a good while.
