I had this C64 game back in the 80's! Great memories of this one and so many other Commodore games! Mr. Merengue was my favorite (our first purchased C64 game was Ghostbusters!) Thanks for posting this!
I remember this game. I was 11 years old and my english was... I knew yes and no (I´m german) And unfortunally I never understood this game. So sad. Thank you for the upload and this memories.
2 things that would have made this game more epic. 1. Instead of Mr. Meringue they should have actually licensed the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man from Columbia Pictures. 2. They should have licensed King Kong from Universal. How can you have a giant movie monster game and not have the grandaddy of them all in it?
"Crush, Crumble, and Chomp!" is still the best giant monster game ever made in my opinion. The game is infinitely re-playable and you can design pretty much any giant monster that you can imagine to let loose on NYC, DC, and San Francisco. This game, while graphically better, is limiting by forcing you to do missions and not allowing you to create monsters. "CC&C" just says, "Make a monster, here's a city, and have at it!"!
Finally found the game! I remember this from my childhood! Thanks for the upload! Definitely going to buy this! 😊👍🏻
The C-64 SID chip - crazy to think that sound chip was revolutionary for its time.
Had this game when it released. Great memories.

That's the most adorable Godzilla I've ever seen.
Wow. This brought back some memories

There are SOOO MANY games for the c64 I never even knew about
The Glog only needs to bump into a building once to destroy it; it takes a bit of time, but it comes down (probably due to corrosion).
He really was the "best" overall: tough, heals fast, moves decently quick, destroys things easily (as you mentioned).
Yup just go hide in water then he powers up quick

The theme song is on point, groovy AF
Emulating it now on a PlayStation classic. Seems a bit slow, though. I love the crunchy intro jam, too 👊.
This game was so fun!
Is it possible to actually win with mr meringue? He was even slower than godzilla somehow
25:27 TOP NOTCH Story Writing!

I was disappointed they didn't bring the Kraken back for this game
