I'm like you with full coverage sometimes the gaps bug me but I know if I don't sprinkle in some blocks of stitches I may loose my mind. I am also not a big Easter person but the patterns are very lovely.

My full coverage pieces look like mattresses on the back and I don't care..the fronts are beautiful and that's what I care about..my philosophy has always been, do whatever makes you happy and brings you warm satisfaction....please don't change..😁✌🇬🇧 💖
I 100% agree w you...everyone should be able to stitch what draws them in however they want to! There r a couple of fb groups that I'm in here in the US and man, sometimes ppl can be SUPER sparky in the comments- makes it where I don't even want to post my works or any questions in these groups cuz I don't have the patience for those keyboard warriors who think THEIR way is the ONLY way! They r the worst kind of stitchers... thankfully I would say the other 93% of our community is amazing and I love the commraderie and knowing if I need suggestions I can get the help I need! I personally have never purchased any kits or things from tap mkt or say Ali express or wherever; but I also would not knock anyone who did. The subject of pirated patterns aside, if that's how someone chooses to add to their stash, that has nothing to do with me and if ppl have nothing nice to say they shouldn't at all! Sometimes a newer stitcher may not understand how designs can be stolen and or where to go about finding the original pattern from the real designer, and if they ask I would assist in whatever way I could, but I'd never attack or give unsolicited advice I think those types r rude! I love this community and we all just want to stitch and have fun with our beautiful designs and supplies when we r able to get them! And we all stitch in our own ways- whatever method u use ur works come out gorgeous!!! Knot away! 😉 Happy stitching Emily! 🪡❤️
