Just after passing MBA from city known for oxford of the east (University) I appeared for SEBI exam for General Assistant post i cleared prelims exam and I could not be able to clear my Mains. due to topics missing in my BBA and MBA ,like types of oligopoly and many more i was only taught the defintion of oligopoly and best book that is refered is peter drucker book only definition is provided no words on type of oligopoly concept. 1st suggestion to UGC is to compare there syllabus with industry and match it, i spent hard earned money of my parents for MBA that knowledge is easily available from coaching institutes in 1/10 of the cost of which i spent on MBA, this mismatch of UGC syllabus with industry requirement is killing the days of effectiveness and efficiency of the youth and country is not be able to use these resources and burden will be created on govt on unemployment and other issues of societal threats will be also born jus a suggestion other than flexibility and other thing there should also a focus on syllabus of ugc mismatch with industry.
