Netball is unique in Australian sport because it does not need a men's competition to financially float it.
Netball is also one of the most poorly run professional sports and the stupidity and/or rigidity of the many administrators over the years has led to this current mess.
Like soccer, it is not the product that is unappealing it is the promotion and incompetent administration that weighs the sport down.
@@BenWick-oc8pvI consider netball to be similar to women’s volleyball. It has a higher viewership than the other women’s sports. Probably men like to see the ladies in vball. But in the netball, they are banking on mostly socialism for funding.

Netball at the national level has been poorly run for decades.
However, the current pay issue is the player's fault.
The players made Netball Australia turn down Gina Reinholdt's 15-million-dollar sponsorship offer for reasons I will not bring up here. Now they want a pay rise????????????
They need to make the spot more profitable, have they considered playing topless?
