millions of people bleach and dye their hair everyday or change the color frequently. There's always a chance to damage your hair but not everyone does, it depends on that individuals reaction to the chemicals, the toxicity level, the aftercare, the hair's strength and prior state of health, and not everyone has to cut their hair off for it to grow or still look good. Peace. And kudos to this awesome tutorial.
Love what Im seeing on your channel however you should not mix color with metal instruments it causes a very dangerous reaction and it could cause your hair to fall out.. That includes using metal pins in your hair as well.. (just because it hasnt happened it doesnt mean it can't :) Im not sure if anyone has ever told you that so I figured I'd share.. (and yes I did go to cosmetology school) Wishing you the best...
Yes, I'm hella late in commenting; I just barely discovered u +Laurasia Ashley and u no l mk me live!!! Ur style, choices, techniques r so varied AND ON POINT ERRYTIME GUURRL! I thoroughly enjoy u (oh & I learn so mch too... forgot tht as it's fun w/ u no matter wht u share); keeping it real, errors & all.THANK YOU +LAURASIA ASHLEY for EVERYthang!!!!
Usually you oil the scalp before bleaching to protect the scalp from burns. It will still burn a little. When I did this over ten years ago, I had chopped all my hair off. It took three tries to get my hair almost white. I liked it. Keep the hair moisturized. Bleaching may look good, but when your hair grows in, it looks awful. So cut it again and bleach again. I got tired of the process and stopped. Now myhair has grown out and I use extentions or just wear my natural hair, which is the easiest of all and I like my natural grey hair.
I really enjoy ur videos. You're very informative and u don't ramble. Love that!!! My only comment is this really scared me. How did ur hair do after all that processing? Just curious. U clearly know what ur doing. And bleaching isn't for everybody. Back in the early 70's sisters were bleaching with Ultra Blue. I was almost grown before I realized that wasn't a color. Lol! They just wanted that fiery orange- red color. The day I did it, my hair fell out. We live and learn. 👍❤
u could have just use L'oréal super oreal blanc lightener and 40 developer then sit under hooded dryer for 50 mins to achieve the platinum look and then added the gray toner
I for one love your personality and the colors you create as well. I think you are very positive and caring all in one especially when you shave your hair off because I definitely don't have it in me ❤️😍💋
tracey mallard it might sting a little but it depends honestly on the person as well as the level of developer you use. i used the 30 before and it didnt really sting to the point where i just NEEDED to get it out my head lol
lol i made a video of myself toning for the first time with wella's t18 and you are absolutely right...toning right after bleach IS NO JOKE OMG IT HURT SO BAD. you put more toner in than i did so i can ONLY imagine!! great video though! I'm still trying to get platinum myself
You should never use basic white on your hair it is not an on the scalp bleach. It is very harsh and drying to the hair. I am a hairdresser 20 years in the game😘
Laurasia, listen. Don'tchew DARE ignore this extremely important question... "Where Did You Get Those Lashes"?!?!?! Please post the link to those exact lashes ASAP, #ISaidDontchewDARE:-)
Thanks for the video. My boyfriend is half black half puertorican and he's been wanting me to help him bleach his hair and I'm so scared I'll mess up cause I've only ever bleached my hair that naturally handles it well.
Ms.Laissa I love your hair ! Its very beautiful! What do you use on your hair? Whatever it is I need some life brought back to my hair! Please help me thanks
next time do quick blue powder and 30 or 40 volume. wash and rinse your hair with ONLY purple shampoo and purple conditioner. To keep "white" use Fanci Full "Ultra White Minx" its a rinse so no harm. I promise you'll love it
+micheala Yates When I used a color corrector than bleached it with only on my new growth. Then toned it with the 050 cooling violet toner. That is what turned it the grey color how I like.
This is ur 🎁...any and everyone can do what u do 2 hair....I need u n my life...bless u don't have 2 pay 2 get ur hair make up done...lets be friend....omg ur the best...luv ur tutorial...gives me hope
+Nat Rowe I just bleached my hair & toned with Wella T14 & 20 volume, my hair is an ashy golden blonde...my question is can I tone again with Wella T18 & 20 volume wash with purple shampoo to receive more of silver tone hair or will I have to bleach again then tone? Any suggestions would help....
most people don't look forward to have silver/gray hair but it seems to be a trend. I guess most that use those harsh cancer causing chemicals don't know what its really doing but stylists wont tell you that because they want the money
Are you a licensed stylist? Just curious. I’ve never seen anyone use your technique. Conditioner?? I use bond builder in bleach and then no damage. Never ever bleach (with 40 especially!) on already lifted hair😧 clearly your gorgeous so a short style looks great and omg the eye brow with 40! Your lucky they aren’t all falling out
+Lil Kim after my second process it started irritating my scalp a little. That why I waited about 2 weeks to do a third bleaching and i used a developer for sensitive scalp.
FYI.... use a tint brush to get your roots. you dont to over process. You should not use your hands. You are placing bleach right on your scalp frying your follicles. but u look good. there are safe ways to achieve your color.
Do you feel as though you could have skipped any of these steps, that last step was booming, it seems like you did it 3 times not 2. I have my first step completed with orange hair and it seems like your white silver is verifiable, I would love to finish mine like this, and your make up videos are booming I am a follower now.
lmfao nah son.... always got a different color in my hair n my hair still growing , the amount of bleach u used for alil bit of hair ? wow . one thing you should always know is to never bleach n then put permanent hair color in ryte after killinh ya hair fasttttttt . had to pause it after I seen u go in for another bleach lmaoooooooooo nah u brave forreal .

I know nothing about coloring, but when when I saw that metal instrument, I knew that wasn't right. We live, we learn...
Yaaaaasss, positive feedback; NOT a diss!!! TY for looking out 4 those of us not tryn for the bald look. *respectfully bows in ur presence*
Glad i saw this!!!!!!!!!!!!! Blessings to you lol
That ending was everything!!
Yes she didn’t show the hair just the make up done. Sorry but this is why people pay for a professional.
you should try manic panic it allows you to bleach the hair white without the yellow
WARE DO I BUY THAT AT...!!!!!!!!!!!I AM THE FINGER NAIL MAN....
Dam I thought that was her hair why all y'all so call hair stylist worried she not she know what her hair can stand

Great video. When toning hair you should use a develop no higher than 10 vol, preferably 5 vol.

I love it! I could never get my hair that color so I just gave up lol
u could have just use L'oréal super oreal blanc lightener and 40 developer then sit under hooded dryer for 50 mins to achieve the platinum look and then added the gray toner
there is conditioner and shampoo called "yellow out" that also helps, its made by bantu.
ciara thompson that keeps it up but she needed to tone first for sure
absolutely....
silver rocks on you!
I'ma let y'all finish but @LaurasiaAndrea make the best videos of all time. 😂😂😉😗💓💓💓💓
lmfaoooooo you are so funny and cute!
omari kirk lmfao
You should never use anything metal while dye your hair :)) .. still nice video❤
Nice vids :). I m not sure if you should use a metal spatel with chemicals.
if your hair was wet that's why. never tone on wet hair. wait a few hours
That's too much of everything. my hair would Fall the hell out with all those mixture of chemicals
LUV YOUR STYLE
What about using grey dye?
I for one love your personality and the colors you create as well. I think you are very positive and caring all in one especially when you shave your hair off because I definitely don't have it in me ❤️😍💋
Do you have a makeup Tutorial for that look you did in the intro I in love with it 💅🏾
At the end
Not yet hunny. Editing it as we speak will post the middle of next week.
Just FYI Jolen bleach works on eyebrows
What lashes are you wearing at the end? Also, loved that silver.
Love the smile the second time around :)
Hey sis i got a idea when i had my white hair i deep condition with the shimmer lights conditioner as a alternative to toner
Don't use any metal bowls or whisk! SMH
patricia roberts I was thinking the same thing! I thought you wasn't supposed to 🤔
I didn't get to see your hair at the end, but your face was beat Sis🔥🔥
Did you do this all in one day?
Does bleach usually sting and burn? I want to do this but I don't want it hurt me. Also is the shimmer lights shampoo enough to use as toner?
tracey mallard it might sting a little but it depends honestly on the person as well as the level of developer you use. i used the 30 before and it didnt really sting to the point where i just NEEDED to get it out my head lol
I use a few packets of Sweet N Low each time I bleach and it never burns. An old trick from Cosmetologist/Colorist from back in the day.
Find an On Scalp lightener
OMG Amazing! You did that WOW!!!
I swear you can rock any hair color
just what I said it's cute tho I was like damn what happened to the finished hairstyle. I wanted to see that 😉
lol i made a video of myself toning for the first time with wella's t18 and you are absolutely right...toning right after bleach IS NO JOKE OMG IT HURT SO BAD. you put more toner in than i did so i can ONLY imagine!! great video though! I'm still trying to get platinum myself
your hair turned out gorgeous. Did you use the Ardell red gold corrector with the bleach, dye or toner? You rock that silver gray.☺
i used it with the bleach
what was the colors and brand of the toners u used in the end?? gorgous!!
Thank you for the video! Now i want to try the silver&grey hair &you just helped me
looks really nice u did a great job
Great video!! Hair shouldn't be lifted past pale yellow or it will damage the integrity of the hair aka turn into noodles... Just looking out 😁💕
Haha thanks for that. I'm surprised my hair is even still on my head!
Really enjoyed the video. Great look. Love it!!!
This was so funny 🤣🤣
I've always heard not to use metal to mix bleach, is that true?
Ouch! Those studs on your face did it hurt?
+Luz Figueroa nope. I have a high pain tolerance! i even have them on my shoulders.
+Laurasia Andrea on your shoulders I'am scared of you.lol
lol don't be!
Gorgeous! New subscriber! I finally found a TH-camr with my exact skin tone! Looking forward to watching all of your videos!
Thanks for the video. My boyfriend is half black half puertorican and he's been wanting me to help him bleach his hair and I'm so scared I'll mess up cause I've only ever bleached my hair that naturally handles it well.
What did you get your contacts and what color is that
What are the name of the contacts, place to buy they look so good!
slks
OMG I love those contacts!!!!! They look so natural!!! Good job on the hair too, btw.
+chokolatgurl thanks!!!
Hi love what product you use to make your hair soft like that ? Please get back to me
Ms.Laissa I love your hair ! Its very beautiful! What do you use on your hair? Whatever it is I need some life brought back to my hair! Please help me thanks
I just bought T14 yesterday.. would this give a darker tone? I want my grey to be almost silver/white.
next time do quick blue powder and 30 or 40 volume. wash and rinse your hair with ONLY purple shampoo and purple conditioner. To keep "white" use Fanci Full "Ultra White Minx" its a rinse so no harm. I promise you'll love it
Thanks Lin. I am right at this step you mentioned and don’t feel like doing all the extra stuff. I have all the products you mentioned. Big help.
The Ion developer is an excellent choice :)
What brand and color contacts do you wear?! These really look good on you
I used Desio in this video. But now I normally use the Solotica contacts in Avela
You should get some olaplex
Soooo, you didn't show us your hairstyle... That's what I came for. The fingerwaves :(
so what will be the correct thing to do?? I want this silver color I might just go to the shop though
+micheala Yates When I used a color corrector than bleached it with only on my new growth. Then toned it with the 050 cooling violet toner. That is what turned it the grey color how I like.
Thanks that's exactly what I needed to know doll thanks
Can you do a remake tutorial for weave hair
What song is that, that comes in at the very end?
I died when you said your head was on fire 😂😂
You want to keep it gray once a week take your purple shampoo put it in your dry hair 20 to 30 minutes and then wash it out
I also use isoplus
Lol u are definitely very informative and funny, I enjoyed the video.your hair looks great, gearinf up to do mine. Thanks for the tips, Blessings
This is ur 🎁...any and everyone can do what u do 2 hair....I need u n my life...bless u don't have 2 pay 2 get ur hair make up done...lets be friend....omg ur the best...luv ur tutorial...gives me hope
song?
omg looks so amazing on you. if you want it to stay try the pravana chromasilk in silver and dilute it with condition. shit never comes off lol
just use toner after it takes out all the yellow
she did
the lesson here is, you can't tone out yellow until you've reached the level of blonde needed to do so
love your personality 😊
Why did you use the conditioner in your lightener?
To add moisture to the hair... since bleaching strips all the moisture from it
+Chirenezie Phillip lightener takes away moisture at all cause. you're just waiting product.
+Nat Rowe well if you listened to the vid!!! you would hear her say the same thing! " I was repeating what she said" 😑
Chirenezie Phillip I hearts the video but I was telling you that. I'm a licensed cosmetologist & I was trying to understand her concept
Cute color!
this is the exact same colour I want. wish me luck.
I don't quite understand what you said about showing how you style your hair. Are you going to show how you slick it down in another video?
Yes it's my next video after this one. Stay tuned!
Laurasia Andrea Awesome, looking forward to it!
Flawless finish!
Yes honey one of the best vids
It looks like you're from Monmouth county? I noticed "Eatontown" on your products.. ☺
Miriam Sutton I went to Monmouth University for college
You are stunning!
You didnt even show the finished product of your hair or curls like you said, just your makeup
whats your hair type/texture?
AppGoddess her hair looks like it is 3b, since there aren't any visible kinks in there.
I hv this silver now after bleaching 5 time I use wella t18 and 050
At the end you showed us your makeup/face more than your hair?!
thumbs up for cats
🙀🙀🙀😻
your hair is already light ?
Are you a licensed stylist? Just curious. I’ve never seen anyone use your technique. Conditioner?? I use bond builder in bleach and then no damage. Never ever bleach (with 40 especially!) on already lifted hair😧 clearly your gorgeous so a short style looks great and omg the eye brow with 40! Your lucky they aren’t all falling out
The bleach doesn't burn your skin???
+Lil Kim after my second process it started irritating my scalp a little. That why I waited about 2 weeks to do a third bleaching and i used a developer for sensitive scalp.
That teaser you left aat the end of the video tho lol I enjoyed watching
Thanks Hun! Stay tuned for my next video!! You will love it
+Laurasia Andrea contacts color?
You should do a video on how to do your fake freckles
I did love. It's a tutorial on this look.
FYI.... use a tint brush to get your roots. you dont to over process. You should not use your hands. You are placing bleach right on your scalp frying your follicles. but u look good. there are safe ways to achieve your color.
Gorgeous!!!!
Beautiful!💓💕
Is the wella T18 toner permanent or semi-permanent?????? x
It's semi permanent
I don't understand why people rocking gray hair! I'm trying to run from it 😂
Tasha James Lol. My mother says the same thing
@Tasha James..it hides the gray😁😁
I love the color
Last song ???
wild child- weeked
+Laurasia Andrea thanks love your makeup btw 😍

lobe your techniques, but do not use metal instruments with bleach hun....acidity in the metal is not Good with bleach
Try heat while processing next time
