I really like to see when new people start to know the work of BTS but it is important that you get rid of prejudices such as: they are Korean, we do not understand, they are only pretty faces etc. BTS is much more than what is seen with the naked eye and it takes time, effort, research, analysis and many neurons to understand all that develops within the concept of boys. For example, the first video you saw was "Boy with love" which is a song written for the fandom, it's like a letter from them, that's why that concept was sweeter and in the lyrics they express what they feel and Fandom means to them. Something important that you should keep in mind is that they use a lot of symbology, that means that everything that appears in the videos is not by chance or mere decoration, additional over the years they have created a type of storyline that connects some videos with others, some songs with others etc. For 5 years they have developed much of their concept based on the book "Demian - Herman Hasse" which in turn is based on "The Archetypes of Jung (psychoanalyst)" and "The Map of the soul according to Jung". I recommend watching some videos like: BTS explained by a korean. Or some videos of XCELESTE. When you discover the complexity and depth of the work of BTS you will really be surprised, that's why BTS is for intellectuals.
