The Hebrew bible, Old Testament, Torah, books were written by many men in Aramaic and Hebrew over a 1,000 year period. Four hundred years passed then the New Testament was written in Greek. So, whatever language was used at the time is what the names and words are. Read the Hebrew bible, Old Testament, Israel is mentioned many times and dates back to Abraham, the father of Judaism. The name Israel is derived from the word, Yisra to prevail over or struggle with. Stop using AI in place of credible, tangible, verifiable, research and apps.
