Comparable to 357. Does have some diameter advantage. Just for giggles I ran numbers on the original 45 Colt (250gr@950 fps) and got TKO of 15. So great great grandpa's black powder Colt 45 doesn't lose anything to the 10mm in effectiveness.
No doubt it’s a powerful semi auto cartridge but even full power underwood 180 grain is beat by Buffalo bore 180 grain 357 mag which is moving at 1500 fps and 180 is very heavy grain weight for the 357 mag.

357magnum beats 10mm and 45 colt is a awsome round that no one cares about unfortunately.
As I remember Everything Black Powder gets around 1050 with 255 grn bullet and 40 grns 3f out of a 4.5/8 Ruger.

You need full power 10mm ammo get some underwood aka UNDERWORLD 180GR AT 1300+ FPS FROM A GLOCK 20
