  • I leave Iraq's capital, Baghdad, and head south to visit Babylon - the largest city of the ancient world. It is now overlooked by an abandoned palace belonging to Saddam Hussein. Along the way I get offered to eat food (dolma) by an Iraqi family.

I continue to be impressed with your travels (and especially even more so during this crazy time). Once again thank you for your effort. Saddam's palace was certainly most impressive. Ah! The folly and ego of "man" knows no boundaries! And this is precisely why history is so fascinating.

I love the video interaction with the locals especially the kids with the senior citizen. Did the tour guide introduce you to the family?
