okay, due to comments, peugeot-citroen never had normal petrol engines. me with positive experience with EB2 - just keep reading these all... along with mates driving similar w/o issues. or maybe it's mostly a problem of typical haters who actually never drive/own one? rhetorical
What a shame tho, a lot of new Peugeot look very good and are decently priced but these 1.2 petrol engines are hot garbage. Pls bring back the 2.0 Bluehdi and 1.5 we don’t want crappy hybrid and petrols!

You have to wait the new 1.2 puretech 48V, improved to be more efficient and reliable.
Until 120kph the engine is reasonable but at 180 is laughable. What a joke 🤣🤣🤣. With a 1.6 hdi this would have been a perfect car but with that joke of an engine...😅

@@TESTDRIVEFREAK unfortunately the 1.5 HDI is in the same performance bracket. If you want more than the basic 130 hp offer you need to go for the PHEV which is 10k euro more expensive. All recent Peugeot C&D segment cars are plagued by this lack of decent mid-sized ICE. Seems like all French manufacturers went all in on electric and it is backfiring big time.

this engine are shit and problem with french cars especially Peugeot now that they are too expensive as new and in same time for 5-6 years they will lose so much on value that this one will worth less then some Škoda Fabia same old , i sayed Fabia not Octavia or Scala and same thing are with 508 with this shitty engine and costs as new Audi or BMW ,Mercedes with similar or something stronger engines as new but as i see they already start to lose alot on value
