    I was almost one of them. May, 2017, I'm on a solo camping trip at the Judge Branch Campsite at Frozenhead State Park, TN. I hiked to the site and, as I shook out my tent, a completely black shape simply popped up in front of me. I dropped the tent and fell backward, reaching for my knife thinking that a black bear had charged up on me. I stared as it stood there and winked out. It was about 5pm. I was completely disoriented from that point on. It was like my life was being drained from me. I tried to rest, but I just got weaker. I finally, instinctively, felt like I was dying. My mind was failing as fast as my body. The dark thing, whatever it was, was draining me of life. It took me three tries to pack my gear. I had to crawl to the trail. Barely able to walk, I made my way out as it got closer to dark. I could sense that I was being followed...terrible feeling when you can't see what's after you. Just as I was in sight of my car, something hit my pack from behind me. I am 6'-2" and a gym rat. Knocking me down is not so easy. Yet, I nearly dropped from the impact. I kept going. I crossed a stream just before I reached the parking lot. The attacks stopped. I dropped my gear into the trunk with ordinarilly powerful arms that were nearly useless. I made it home. There are things that live between the worlds that prey on us. Later, I researched the area and found a report that hikers found abandoned expensive gear at the same campsite a couple of years before my trip.. The trail had more gear strewn on the path. I hope that guy made it out. I had a gun, knife, machete, bear spray, cell phone, a sonic alarm and I was still defenseless. We are up against something new. I can give the place, time and the details to anyone wants more info. You can rent the campsite yourself and investigate. I later brought friends there for a short day trip. We found odd places on boulders with melted candles and strange figurines placed at the bases of some trees. It gave the impression of someone performing rituals there. It's just a guess, but it's how it felt. Perhaps people did things there to open a door, the wrong door to something else. I still think about the encounter and I'm sure that if I had stayed, I would have been lost. I'm the fish that got off of the hook.

      Wow. Thats an amazing story. But as you said we are defenseless, I'd have to say when physical weapons won't work use the sword of the Gospel. I have had a situation where a person who seemed to be under demonic possession (crack or something) came creeping up on me as I was pumping gas 1 night. This person had evil in there eyes. I told em Jesus christ saves sinners . And they got really scared and turned away and fled. And yea I believe there are fallen angels at work attacking and deceiving many. GOD is our only defense for this . I hope you are well, God bless

      @LazyDaisyDay88 4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      @Noah Wells No. I've listened the stories Rusty tells since the days when he took them from the 411 Missing stories. Shoes? What if he hurt his ankle or foot and took off his shoe because it was swollen? What about Hypothermia? What about wanting to take your shoe off to use it as a cup to drink (if you have nothing else on you)? What about a broken shoe? What about leaving a trail of clothing for someone to find you (however misguided, that has been done)
      Nothing in these stories is particularly obvious - but you ARE looking for patterns. You're set up to look for those patterns and to ignore the more obvious solutions.
      I'm not trying to be argumentative but to leap to the conclusion that the supernatural is "taking people" (with no evidence and no motive) lacks reasoning and objectivity.
      Have a good day.
