    User registration is a key aspect for one of my sites. I'm currently using Erident and the design options are very limited.
    Any tips?

    Thanks for the informative video. The Elementor site I have inherited and am currently working on has both Elementor and Elementor Pro installed. Elementor Pro is not connected and active. This means that I cannot install the login form. Is there another method to install another login form to work on this website?

    Bjorn - I have a 6 year old complex membership site that works great, but looks too textual (not enough blocks, graphics, etc.) and boring layouts for pages. This is a membership site for engineers, so none of them care what it looks like. However, each member has their own page to advertise their expertise, so there external visitors viewing those. I was thinking of redoing page by page using either Elementor or Brizy. It seems like this is possible and hopefully a good approach. I have created simple single-page sites with Elementor and Brizy (one site each) so I have a bit of experience with both Pro versions. Does this sound like a reasonable approach? P.S. Your TH-cam channel is my favorite one. I have purchased 3 plugins from your links. ;-) Thanks, Jeff

    • @wplearninglab
      @wplearninglab  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Jonathon,
      I’m happy you find my videos useful :)
      Check this one out, it uses WP’s built-in icons and adds them to the main menu: th-cam.com/video/0xJn8LWtehM/w-d-xo.html
      The process would be similar with other icon sets like FontAwesome, you just have to install the FontAwesome plugin or script first.
      I hope that helps, let me know if you have any further questions. Thanks for watching!

    Loved the tutorial but just checking before I delete everything I did as I went along. Was that last part stating that if you don't want to have incorrect login details end up on the wordpress login page, then this is no good? I'm thinking that can't be right as why leave that until the end? Surely I've misunderstood something? Also, hopefully I have misunderstood and all is ok but then I need to know how to set the password in the first place. I'll research more now but open to someone letting me know and saving me some time. Thanks :)

    Hi Bjorn, thx for your video. In my case I need a login for my customers to login to a page on my website. I would like evereyone to be able to see my website, but a possibility for customers to login to a shop page on the website. Is this possible?

    • @wplearninglab
      @wplearninglab  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Jesper,
      It sounds like you want the shop page to be visible to customers who are logged in and anyone who is not logged in can't see the shop page. That is possible in a variety of ways. You can use a membership plugin (some have free options that may work), which is the best for user experience. You could also use the built it WordPress password protection. For this method, your customers would log into your site and then go to the shop page where they would have enter another password. The shop page password would be the same for all your customers. I have a video for this method here: th-cam.com/video/d4S7aYI34qM/w-d-xo.html

    They way I see it, if someone has the link to the redirect page, he has access to it without login. Correct? How can I keep him out of that page when he's logged out?

      I have dabbled with PWA. It's been on my list of tutorials to make for a while. I don't have enough experience to help you with your issue of the top of my head. Have you tried searching on Stackoverflow? That's one of the most helpful sites on the internet.

    Hey, After inserting login form, all the sections become equal in height for you. For me only the login form section height increases, rest are in the original height. How can I fix that?

      @@labtreeltd1473 had the same issue. I found a workaround. I created a three column section and put an "Inner Section" in the middle column. The Inner Section heights will be equal.

    Refers me to /wp-login.php
    Just made a brand new website. But still, the login form redirects to /wp-login.php.
    Even after setting up 'Redirect After Login' in Elementor. Any idea how to fix this?
