- The 2013 Land Rover LR4 is not without its charms. Cars.com reviewer Kelsey Mays lauds the luxury SUV's soft ride, maneuverability relative to bulk, spirited acceleration from its 5.0-liter V-8 and a refreshingly comfortable third row. On the other hand, lousy fuel economy and maddeningly complicated seat folding for expanded cargo space are turnoffs. Watch the video and decide whether you think the LR4 needs to evolve or just go extinct.
Actually think the fold down seats are great. Didn't seem to be such a big deal to lower them. Not sure about the whining. Great vehicle
A good all-rounder. Work horse, soccer mom and executive cruiser. This truck has a lot of roles to play, where as others SUVs mainly have the role as urban warriors. If LR could just sort out the reliability issues they'd be a huge company. They also need to have a entry level model to replace the LR2, the concept DC100 would be perfect
There is height adjust on the front seats !!
I love the Land Rover is undoubtedly the world's best road
Man, you Americans don't like using energy, a 1 minute process and he was panting and complaining!!!
Turbo v6 x5?? This guy really knows his stuff
Great job Kelsey. Always click output videos as soon as I see your image. Carwise, I think a diesel or twin turbo v6 are in order for this LR4.
Just love the styling of the discovery in this generation
thank you
Am I the only one that likes the older design better at least on the LR4? It think the evoque looks great but I think a landrover should keep one model that still looks manly and not like a crossover.
wow that mpg is that bad?
I didn't think the new sport had a 3rd row option...
THE BMW DOES NOT HAVE A V6
Is there a zombie setting for the 4x4 system?
its odd how all the Range Rover products have the same names the USA and the UK, except for the LR4, in the UK its called the discovery
So funny to read so many opinions that vary so widely. Nearly all of it based on personal preference - especially when it comes to style. As for me I am tired of the smashed, shortened, softened SUV styles where "SUV" means Suburban Utility Vehicle. For me, SUV has always been more about utility, being a current owner of a 2014 MDX and previously an owner of an 2010 Lexus RX I am making the move to an LR4 precisely because it does have more "utility".

With a reliable diesel or a Toyota engine and Mechanicals this would be the best SUV on thr market.
