I lost track of how many Mets youtubing news casting videos both live and not, that I watched from 4am in the morning till now. It's been exciting and funny to watch everybody in Mets land tripping over what just happened. But I gotta say, after watching this one, I had the most fun listening to Boomer and Gio trip over this. It was fun. Everybody in Mets land is tripping right now, super stoked and happy. And the rest of baseball is tripping too. What a time for the Mets and the fans. This is like "are you kidding me' surreal"' and even more when you hear that the Mets aren't even done yet. What do you think will happen if Cohen gets Liam Hendricks next.

I'm actually pretty excited about this deal. Correa actually was the guy that made me mad we gave so much money to Lindor. To now have both of them for the next decade is exciting. We definitely have an older group so there are concerns about health and how many of these guys will actually play the whole year but we were 1 hitter away and now I'd say if they pull off the trade for a premier setup man, I love our chances.

Cause the Mets don't know how to spend. As a Met fan, it disgust me how the Yankees are always smarter at building a contender than the Mets. Lindor is nowhere near worth what he's getting paid. Jose Ramirez would have been. Carlos Correa just fleeced the Mets. Trea Turner would have been worth every single penny. Verlander just came for a big payday for his skills begin to deteriorate. And all you clown fans that drank the coolade of a team that couldn't hit worth shit last year will do it again, cause you're as clueless as Billy Epler. Clown organization

Let's be realistic....the Phillies were in the world series.....just shows the best team doesn't always win. As a Mets fan, this is cool and all, but I still don't feel allowed to be excited about the team.
Nobody in all of Sports, chokes harder, or more reliably than the Mets. Especially in September. Season after season, they have dominated all of baseball, only to choke HARD in September. I think it was 2008 or 2009 that they were 12 games up, the first week of September, and still didn't make the playoffs.
This last Season, they choked by getting swept be arguably the two worst teams in MLB (Washington and Chicago Cubs). They were 10.5 games ahead of the Braves and still lost the division.
I don't feel allowed to be excited over the team, until October.

@@michaeldepinto3562 I don't believe the greatest organization in sports history, or their fans have anything to be jealous about. We do well for ourselves. Cute to think you are catching up with your owners purchases......Better win it all this year, or your Flushing Mets will be the laughingstock of sports for all time.....

@@padraignyy71 Nah, that solely belongs to the Yanks for losing to Boston after leading the 2004 ALCS 3-0. Making Boston the first team to force a Game 7 in a baseball championship series after losing the first three games. Which (as _if_ that wasn't bad enough) led to the Red Sox ending their 86-year World Series title drought. Try again...

Correa is actually a negative addition at this point but when you have unlimited funds it does not matter. He is a 15 million dollar player in 3 years. Giants woke up and got their docs to flag something in his physical.

Looking at this guy's stats, is he always hurt? Seeing very few games played. 12 years of injury guy? Who knows his real age, could be 37. Puerto Rico is known for cheating on age.
