Every time I hear this song, I remember the time I carried a single guy through the raids. We did the whole thing together, and he lost his shit during this part. We purposefully stalled the fight to dance with the robot and his mechanics. I never saw that guy again, but I hope he too remember the time we had as fondly as I do.
I'd say it's more of a multimedia reference. The theme used is definitely a super sentai reference. Their names are Decepticon references, the theme is a super sentai reference (which is where power rangers came from) So I feel it's more accurate to say it's both.

Actually, the are a direct reference to Transformers of all things. The naming scheme perfectly lines up with the Combaticons from the series (I.e Brawl=Brawler, Swindle=Swindler, etc.), decepticons that form the combiner robot, Bruticus. Even the individual robots placement in the combined mode is a direct reference.

Honestly one of these best boss themes in the entire game. It;s just so fun and is honestly the best compliment for the fight itself. Was one of the few things stopping me from losing my mind wiping over and over on Savage min ilvl.

For the longest time, I wasn't even aware that "Brute Justice: Trans-mode" was even in English. It never parsed to me as intelligible, so I just thought the kids were cheering in Japanese, as you do to a Sentai Megazord. It's still not exactly intelligible, but I still feel really dumb.

This is one of my favorite music tracks in the game... The trumpets & horns hit differently the first time you hear them, the base lines slap, the lyrics are fun and wacky. Seriously just an incredibly fun track.

Wouldn’t mind Square releasing a high quality toy version of this irl, would be cool as heck with sounds, lights, and a button that triggers this song to play from it. Plus it would be able to split into all the little bots, just for good measure. Would definitely buy it if it were a thing. Love the Alexander raids so much, got by far the best music in the game.
The endsinger is teased continuously starting with Heavensward yes. These raids are all about how sucking the Aether from the planet would doom it. It's not until Endwalker that we find out why.

Seeing as the defs said they didn't even fully made the story of EW untill after the drop of 5.0, you can safely assume that the story was non even in the making back then.
I love how Normal victory scene has the characters facing away from the explosion like a badass out of a movie, but the Savage has them doubled over in sheer exhaustion after how much the whole fight kicked their ass.
I never actually raided alexander back in the day, but recently I had to clear my way there to get j-kick and I was amazed by this song. Now that I read the lyrics, it's at least 69 420 times better.
When the fight started just with the middle unit I was like “nah this can’t be it.” Then the four robots from earlier started showing up and I was like “ah we’re gonna have to fight them all at once, that’s kinda cool”, and then they started levitating and “OH MY GOSH THEY’RE DOIGN A F***IN VOLTRON!!!”
