I watched this expecting the typical fluff and garbage, but this was pretty much spot on.

Great video! Thank you for your numerous advices. Those e-bikes surely handle very differently then a regular road bike. As you said it is extremly worthwhile to spend the time feeling how the bike handle before trying to go fast. This may save you some skin. Thank you! Those bike are extremly heavy. Falling is surely not fun specially with those bikes.

I just realised I need to make sure that everything is snug. Just because it came in a box unopened doesn't mean the factory snug everything up to code almost ate a month full of asphalt today 😂😅😅

As a person that rides their Juggernaught Fatbike to work and back each day (Sun or snow). Give yourself room! be a predictable rider on the street and on the sidewalks or paths!!! It's fun to go full throttle but a 80lbs bike hitting somthing or someone is not a joke!

And if you are a commuter, dress for the conditions.
A light jacket and no gloves in the rain when it's your muscles providing power is fine.
Not so much when your speed and the temp are the same - 28 - and you aren't peddling.
I left for work one morning on my 6 mile commute to the train station. It was just above freezing. I'd been riding this route for a couple of weeks. It was dry for a change, so I didn't bother with my rain gear and when I couldn't find my good gloves, just grabbed a pair of gardening gloves.
      Big mistake.
The rain gear has also been cutting the wind, and the flimsy hood on it still had been fairly effective.
Without that gear, the cold wind cut through my jeans and my warm jacket.
The overall loss of body heat meant there wasn't any extra to spare for keeping my hands warm, and by a couple miles into it, I knew it was going to be a challenge to make it to the train station.
I gritted my way through it.
When I got to the platform, I pried my hands off the grips and I felt like I was going to pass out.
Got my bike on the train and just slumped down on the floor next to it.
      I didn't move for about 15 minutes.
Not the first time I've experienced hypothermia, but I was playing it pretty close to hard physical limits.
I invested in better cold weather gear since then.

I know this is an older video, but I find my issue with my fat tire E bike is going around corners because we’re allowed to ride on sidewalks. No matter if I try to take a right turn or a left turn, I find myself either almost falling or going over the curb into the road because I’m not sure how to take those tight turns. Can you help me please please

Your tire pressure may be too low. If you have it around 20psi, you should be able to lean while turning

Do you really even need a throttle?
I have ridden a lot in Europe and they do not allow a throttle. Have never really missed it in Europe.

It really depends on the rider. From the 1000s we have spoken to, they love having throttle as an option.

@@Biktrix I agree it's 100% a rider preference. for me I use my bike for commuting to work. I'm wearing my work clothes while pedaling to work. I don't want to be sweating even a little bit. So for me I use throttle on the way to work and I pedal home. but again teach their own

When I was a child nobody wore helmets when using a bike. There was not even such a thing as a bicycle helmet, it was non-existent. Furthermore, I do not remember anyone getting a head injury with a bicycle. Solution to a non-existent problem?
