I'm a little stunted on my soccer-growth, I've JUST now started in high school, I go to the field to practice about 3 times a week, and do home workouts on everyday except sunday, should I lessen the load or change up my routine? I just dont wanna fall behind.
I’d lessen the load bro. Training every day can definitely stunt your growth because your body needs time to recover and actually build on the work you’re putting in. Because of your age, I'd emphasise the importance of getting touches on the ball and improving your technique and then plyometrics etc. should come secondary. You can also integrate plyometrics into your training sessions.
It honestly depends what stage of development you're at currently. But generally speaking I'd aim to spread them, and implement these towards the end of your training sessions
The problem I face is that when I'm dribbling and defender is using his body to get the ball I can't keep up with him and lose the ball So, I lose the shoulder battle ,not always but it's a bit hard when I am on the ball and getting bodied
@@termsweak822 Work on using the drills in this vid, and check out my other vid about building strength. Another tip is to use your body to get between your opponent and the ball, making it much harder for them to tackle to you. This is great for drawing fouls 🤝
You can take a few different approaches to be honest bro. Normally I like to incorporate agility, plyometrics and speed training into every one of my football sessions (so I can stay sharp) and because I know how to execute them. Though while you’re becoming familiar with the exercises I’d advise 1-2 per week, solely focusing on learning the exercises and correcting your form. Hope this helps.

Hey, was just wondering what are the sets and reps you do for the plyometrics?
Honestly it can depend on the exercise mate, but I usually aim for 6-8 reps of 3 sets when working in the gym.
I do like plyometrics and maybe lower body workout, how much sets and reps each exercise?

Is it smart to spread these 3 trainings out on different days
