As a 9ers fan, we lost, it is what it is. Browns defense is legit and we just didn't bring it this week. But as a football fan it was a painfully boring, frustrating game to watch. There were drives seemingly with flags on every damn play, not to mention the bad calls I think the refs might have had more yards than either team combined, and if not, it has to be close. NFL somehow still needs to learn to just let the teams play.
Browns defense is good and Purdy came through at the end. I would have liked to see another play before the field goal attempt. Officials were indecisive throughout the game, so not surprised about those last calls. The 49ers won’t use this as an excuse, they’ll grow from this.
I'm a 49ers fan and I've watched my Dad be a Browns fan for years. I've seen Cleveland be on the bad side of the calls for years so I guess he deserved this lmao. Nonetheless, niners got no excuse. They gotta be able to kick field goals.
0:50 It was clean on replay but the ref has to make a judgement call on that in that moment in real time and Gipson just didn’t sell it well enough to the ref to not throw the flag
Its a learning moment forsure hopefully Moody uses this as fuel and keeps it moving. The team definitely got your back, and we are still top of the league 💪🏽
Purdy has only lost 1 game in the regular season since starting and people calling him a bust just because of 1 bad game! If the kicker had made it people would be praising him for getting them down the field to kick it. This was a sloppy game on both sides with injuries, penalties, and bad decisions on both sides. 1 game doesn't change the fact that the 49ers are one of the best NFL teams right now.
Exactly, and he can’t really be called a busy either considering he was the last pick in the draft. This is one of those for San Francisco where stuff happens and for Cleveland it’s a great win for them, definitely much needed for them as DeShaun Watson is still injured with his throwing shoulder. I do agree with you that the 49ers are still one of the best teams, it’s going to be hard to stop them come playoff time.
If the 49ers played the Browns again without rain I think they'd be a different result. Brock Purdy was clearly struggling to throw a wet football in the rain.

Great to see the Browns win this game. Sure there were calls that gave them an advantage to get in position to score, but bad calls were made on both sides. Now hopefully this will give the Browns confidence going forward after the shellacking they got in two games earlier.
See it's not only the Bills Scott Norwood who misses wide right, Mooney of the 49ers also missed wide right as well. This game will now be known as the 49ers wide right game.
Major props to Cleveland's defense for slowing us down so much. Hopefully we can clean things up in time for the Vikings. I'm still mad about the Gipson penalty, but at the end of the day, we need our kicker to hit makeable field goals.
The Gibson hit absolutely is in the head or neck area. At mark 00:42 , Gibson leads with his right elbow which makes first contact w/ the facemask and he follows through with the force of his shoulder behind his elbow. It was a good call.
Regardless of what happened both teams played pretty well in this game I'm glad the Browns came away with the win cuz it took almost eight years for me to see the Browns beat the 49ers and the Browns have the #1 defense this season and they don't have it for nothing and they have it because they work hard and they deserve it I'm proud to be a Cleveland Browns fan Let's go stomp and crush the colts next week go Browns baby heck yeah 😆😆😆
As a niners fan this is not why we lost we had what 23 penalties for 202 yards , we aren’t winning with that and without protecting our qb and he’s running for his life every damn play and miss field goals only ones that showed up was our D they just got tired
Fr when Trent motioned to throw his helmet on the ground, I was like wtf you pi$$ed for, you can't even give your qb a few seconds to throw the damn ball
Hitting a defenseless receiver by rule, is not ONLY hitting the neck or head, it is clocking a receiver senseless when he is in a vulnerable position, without the ball. Yes, replay favors the hitter, but the refs view this at full speed. I've seen worse calls than this! At game speed, it was a close call. Browns outgained the 49's in yards, first downs, rushing yards, and passing yards and made 4 of 5 field-goals. The 49ers missed a 39-yard field goal, and Purdy threw for 12 of 27 and missed wide-open receivers all day, which is why 49ers lost the game.
That isn't true - if you a) don't make contact with the head and neck area and b) don't lead with the crown of your helmet. Gipson did neither and thus should have not been penalized.
@@dexterwestin3747you also can’t launch with one or two feet leaving the ground. That’s a new emphasis on the defenseless receiver rule. Gipson did that.
The problem is they have the ability to see all this and know immediately after that it was the wrong call. I get not having NY create calls, but if a call is objectively wrong, they should be able to overturn it.
This is a main reason I’ve been hating NFL. Obviously I wants the Niners to win but I don’t really care if it’s a clean contest. Those seriously bogus calls at the end ruin the whole fan and entertainment experience.

So true. It’s so soft. The fantasy nerds have taken over and have no idea what real football was and it was great. They’re ok with game altering soft penalties that were never intended to be penalties.
I’m never going to get over the raiders two “roughing the passer” calls. I’m just glad they lost both those games because both hits were very very very very very soft.
And that first hit is why I no longer watch the nfl. That was a clean hit, great defense. Lead with the shoulder, hit with the shoulder, but because it was a big impact penalty. Defenders are handcuffed and not allowed to do anything. Game is whack today.
Scripted out they know who's going to win ahead of time. It's up to the players coaches and refs to put a good show on but in the end they have to make sure the right team wins
Our starting QB didn't want to be caught dead against that SF defense.... He was trying to avoid the humiliation...... It's even more humiliating that he sat out of a win.
Agreed, he's a massive flop. We should have kept Baker Mayfield and given him one last shot, or AT LEAST put him on the bench. He would have shown that he was the better QB and that he wanted it more than "Massage Watson"
I like both teams, but I am more of a 9er fan. That said, refs do these types of things more often than they should. Just ask the Vikings who got totally robbed. This was not unique.

wake up feeling good about winning on a shanked FG?
everyone knows you'll never forget that 30-7 whooping
@@mithvibes4727 Correct As I had a huge 50th on that Sunday.....my childhood friend showed up in his 9rs polo. it's all good tho, we met Joe Mont and Terry together ( 4 yrs ago) and shared stories. All good my man all good....
@@sekiko7183 On any given Sunday, that can happen, take it when lady luck can give it. Browns offense can't be as bad as Good ol Mr. Matt Canadas, he's making sure of that for ya.
This is so true the game was really weird!! I mean like wierd as hell
20+ penalties for over 200 yards. This feels like a ref bowl to me
How can you miss that FG
Imagine if they got their star TE invloved.
Browns defense is good and Purdy came through at the end. I would have liked to see another play before the field goal attempt.
Officials were indecisive throughout the game, so not surprised about those last calls. The 49ers won’t use this as an excuse, they’ll grow from this.
Thanks Cleveland. This makes the loss to the Bengals sting a lot less.
49ers should've ran it a couple more times to get closer, especially with the rookie kicker. They had 2nd down with 45 seconds left and a timeout.
Yeah, wrong move by Kyle for draining the clock with 1 time out and 30 seconds left.
This game was definitely sus where th was Mccafferey and deebo
@@steezedup6805Injured
LMFAO 😅🤣😂
That's what I was saying. Every yard counts. Should have ran it to get closer. 🙄
I'm a 49ers fan and I've watched my Dad be a Browns fan for years. I've seen Cleveland be on the bad side of the calls for years so I guess he deserved this lmao. Nonetheless, niners got no excuse. They gotta be able to kick field goals.
0:50
It was clean on replay but the ref has to make a judgement call on that in that moment in real time and Gipson just didn’t sell it well enough to the ref to not throw the flag
Its a learning moment forsure hopefully Moody uses this as fuel and keeps it moving. The team definitely got your back, and we are still top of the league 💪🏽
Yeah. I hope Moody doesn't get affected by the negative comments. We need him!
@gwapdude66 Facts, can't judge him by one miss. Still got lots of football 🏈
Brock got them where they needed to go
they just didn't seal the deal
I love at the end when PJ went to throw the ref the ball and he was like "no, keep that"
I've said it before and I'll say it again! ''Not all teams with a good 5-0 record can beat a team who has a 2-2 record like Cleveland
If the 49ers played the Browns again without rain I think they'd be a different result. Brock Purdy was clearly struggling to throw a wet football in the rain.
@@BeingButterfly not to mention his o line and the injures.

Purdy was bad. But he also made the throws when they were needed to get them into FG range..shit happens
And had the chance to win.
Purdy has more playoff W’s than some overpaid superstar QB’s.
As a Browns fan I cannot believe we won with a third string quarterback, 100 yards in penalties, 2 interceptions no Chubb. ….Miracle
It’s not that hard when Vegas puts the fix in with the NFL/refs.

The browns game plan was simple. Start a rumble during warmups to get under the 49 ego, then shut down the key players . Brilliant move.
Bro what
Tatakae… Tatakae….
They shut down the screen passing game of Cmac n Deebo which in turn made Purdy to look like an average rookie, they dared Purdy to throw down the middle and it got intercepted
@@DangleSan That isn't it. It was the RAIN. Early on when it was raining Brock Purdy was struggling. He even almost fumbled because the ball was wet and slick.

Browns earned this W there was nothing “controversial” here. Hard fought game.
Wow you didn't watch the game
I did. Dont care. Browns earned it
I know those eyes on the board above the field goal post definitely caused the kicker some nervousness which is probably why he missed.
Calls on calls at its lowest... Its been YEARS i never experienced that... such a shame.

Gould
Pure entertainment. Thanks HH
The Gibson hit absolutely is in the head or neck area. At mark 00:42 , Gibson leads with his right elbow which makes first contact w/ the facemask and he follows through with the force of his shoulder behind his elbow. It was a good call.
Not controversial when you miss a FG to end it lmao
2 bad calls in the same drive. The league needs to start hitting refs with fines for bad calls
Seriously like that should had been a thing years ago already.
Might as well put robot refs at this point ever since shitty call in the 2018 nfc championship
The script got followed perfectly
Elbow to the head/neck area & receiver did not have the ball.
Someone failed anatomy class. Clearly the impact of the hit was in thee shoulder area.
Good job, Cleveland 🏈🎉
This was such a weird game today expected more out of 49ers
Browns D is legitimate
Regardless of what happened both teams played pretty well in this game I'm glad the Browns came away with the win cuz it took almost eight years for me to see the Browns beat the 49ers and the Browns have the #1 defense this season and they don't have it for nothing and they have it because they work hard and they deserve it I'm proud to be a Cleveland Browns fan Let's go stomp and crush the colts next week go Browns baby heck yeah 😆😆😆
The refs have called for less. Think of all the hits on QBs that are just football hits.
As a Seahawks fan I don't feel so bad anymore

Unreal ending that was a clean hit
Damn, they usually save those one-sided calls for the chiefs
Niners played bad, kicker lost the game for them, but the refs definitely could've made it easier
This isn't nearly as bad as the PI called on the jets when they were about to beat the chiefs. Nice seeing the 49ers lose since I'm a cardinal fan lol
I’m confused. Did the forearm NOT hit in the head neck area? Looked pretty high on shoulder pads to me.
Jake Moody better hide from Trent Williams 🤣🤣🤣
As a niners fan this is not why we lost we had what 23 penalties for 202 yards , we aren’t winning with that and without protecting our qb and he’s running for his life every damn play and miss field goals only ones that showed up was our D they just got tired
FACTS
Fr when Trent motioned to throw his helmet on the ground, I was like wtf you pi$$ed for, you can't even give your qb a few seconds to throw the damn ball
They had 12 penalties for 105 yards nice try
@@NinerEmpire2481 bro 105 yards of penalties is terrible and yeah I was exaggerating it duh lol
Then the refs need to review it on tape. The refs need to STOP determining the outcomes of games.
@dexterwestin3747 where do you think the defenders arm is if not on his helmet?
This is a main reason I’ve been hating NFL. Obviously I wants the Niners to win but I don’t really care if it’s a clean contest. Those seriously bogus calls at the end ruin the whole fan and entertainment experience.
Do they not get another shot at it since they missed the FG attempt on 3rd down? what happened to 4th down?
I was at the game 😎 Browns win. Niners lose. I couldn't be happier with browns defense today. Held an explosive offense to there worst game!! Go browns!!
Lol.barley lost to.the browns get real if thats the best you guys got and the very worst lmao watch the full game again unbiased and youll see reality yes browns won yet how you let purdy come back playing so poorly to.allow a kicker a chance to rip your heart out lmao i laughed at the fact he even drove the ball down your throats end of 4th quater like weak.... i would still consider that a loss even if the niners got the kick how bad they played yet almost won.... at least it was to the browns. By our flaw
that was a beautiful hit. i miss real football
So true. It’s so soft. The fantasy nerds have taken over and have no idea what real football was and it was great. They’re ok with game altering soft penalties that were never intended to be penalties.
I’m never going to get over the raiders two “roughing the passer” calls. I’m just glad they lost both those games because both hits were very very very very very soft.
i'll bet you miss those below the waist crack back blocks on pass rushing defensive ends too.....those were legal back in the day too!!
And that first hit is why I no longer watch the nfl. That was a clean hit, great defense. Lead with the shoulder, hit with the shoulder, but because it was a big impact penalty. Defenders are handcuffed and not allowed to do anything. Game is whack today.
The outcomes are managed to obtain maximum viewership.
Scripted out they know who's going to win ahead of time. It's up to the players coaches and refs to put a good show on but in the end they have to make sure the right team wins
That was clearly an elbow to the neck.
not a single person has said it was illegal. you just dont know football
As a browns fan and from cle we needed this 😂
Congrats to the refs who were obviously paid off by your 💩 team.
@@BlueMan-di3wgor just letting him heal would have been nice. He played an entire season with a torn labrum.
