I don't see why not as long as you are not going above the voltage limit for that port. In another video, I supplied that ALT port with just a 12v 8A power supply and it worked. However, on specsheets, only the Solar Port has MPPT controller on it. It means it's the port that is most efficient for Solar panel input since solar input varies (cloud/shading/ sun angle) and it has to be tracked. The ALT port will theoretically still work for solar panel but will not be as efficient if there's no MPPT controller behind it.
I'm thinking about ordering one because I can't get the F1000 to work with the Pecron E1500 LFP. But Amazon says they are on backorder. How much did you pay for shipping and how long did it take? (Thanks for the videos by the way! You did a great job working through the app.)
Interesting. The F1000 should work. The Pecron E1500 accepts upto 95v 15A on the GX16 port. The F1000 can deliver a charge upto 42v 25A. That means, you can charge at 42v 15A or 630W to your E1500. Use the GX16 port and get cable adapter if needed. For the F2000, I subscribed to their email news letter and got a code GJ2PDY3W8B0D and that is $100 off so that made the deal for me (not sure if I am supposed to be sharing the code lol). Shipping is free but then I don't know what country you're at. If remember right, it was shipped from Chino California but your miles may vary. They have a chat on their website and they are very responsive. Contact/Chat with them. They can help you better.
@@GajetReview-z5o I also got an email with the same coupon code, so it looks like it's not a customer specific code. I ordered mine one week ago; it hasn't shipped yet (I'm in USA).
F1000 (very simple) Alternator input - 300w, 400w, 500w selectable input Solar input - 48v max up to 500w DC output - 42v 25A upto 1000w (combined solar + Alternator) F2000 = This is a beast Everything the F1000 can do but 1000w for solar and alternator input and up to 1800w DC output and it has app (Wi-Fi + Bluetooth) All the ports are bi-directional so they can become input or output (read manual for limitations). It can be used to charge your car battery and I believe there's a jumpstart feature too (They call it 'activating car' on the app). Not only that it charges all kinds of power stations, it also charges simple batteries up to 48v. It also have a feature to revive dead car batteries. You know when a car battery gets so low that regular chargers won't work. I am still exploring the features myself so there's probably more I missed.
Amazon seem out of stock but you can also buy in on their website. www.amazon.com/Alternator-Batteries-Electrical-Appliances-Supporting/dp/B0DP4361JP www.etakerpower.com/products/etaker-f2000-the-worlds-first-2000w-full-scenario-dc-to-dc-mppt-battery-charger

Can you do a comparison to the f1000. Please & thanks. Trying to determine which is best bang for the dollar.

@GajetReview-z5o - thanks
@@GajetReview-z5ohi, what about the redodo compared to the etakers 1000? Redodo is 100 dollars cheaper and probably 200 less than the 2000
@@donttrickimtricky.8567 Sorry, I can't compare because I don't know anything about Redodo. Do you have a link?
how do you get it?
