Just one question comes to mind that what is the relation between marking and exhibiting documents? whether marking comes before exhibiting or vice versa? what is the significance of a document getting marked but not exhibited or a document getting exhibited but not marked... Thanks!!
Exhibit and marking are just to identify the documents... As a usual practice photocopies etc documents are marked in evidence and are considered not proved in evidence... Whereas original documents are exhibited in evidence and are considered to be proved in court. When one document is considered as not proved then court does not considers or reads that document while giving judgment whereas when exhibited and considered as proved the court relies upon the document while passing a judgment.

Yes original documents have to be filed and they shall remain in the court file till final decision... However some documents can be done OSR meaning original seen and returned... For details of OSR you can discuss with your lawyer
