Absolutely beautiful Camaro SS 1LE!! We've spoken before, as I love your videos! Maybe I missed why or didn't get to that part in the video yet because I paused it at 19:40 to write this comment... Anyway, I heard you saying you wish you had the Bose, heated/cooled seats, etc... Since you bought it new, if I remember right? I'm curious as to why you didn't just spring for the 2SS 1LE? You would have gotten all of those features, plus the absolute need in this car, in my opinion... The blind spot indicators in the side mirrors + the other sensors and safety features... Also, the cool LED interior lighting, among other things? Anyway, keep up the good work! Your videos are really fun to watch! -Chris
I'm sorry man! I watch so many videos, especially Corvette & Camaro videos, plus it's been a while since I saw your videos... I forgot that you work for a dealer? I may have you confused with someone else? I'm still subscribed to you by the way. I'm now paused @ 20:14 and I'll finish the video after this comment.
Great review always have been a fan of the 1le package on the camaros. Just a suggestion but you need to figure out a way to stabilize your camera , the constant shaking was making the video hard to watch especially the first few minutes on the exterior it was brutal.
Sweet car, excellent POV vid. The stock Goodyear Eagles in under 50° get very soapy. Completely agree regarding the stock sound system, GM could have done a lot better. The 4 speaker sound system in my '06 Honda Odyssey LX minivan sounded as good or better.
Just bought my 1SS 1LE 6spd in Wild Cherry Tintcoat last week.. the MPG is starting to scare me a bit with our gas here at 2.26/L lol... but def an awesome car to drive... Shifter is precise and I love the tigher feel to it although the 1 to 4th gear sometimes screws me over while shifting.... me being on the wider side of things at 5'11 and 250" the seating and interior is actually quite comfy, its snug but not too cluster phobic tight.. The power is awesome and widely available on the rpm, had times where I didnt even realize I was speeding until the speed warning came on... handling is great and cant wait till summer to come around and push the car... The blind spot is definitely something to get used to and the small side mirrors dont really help lol.. But all in all the best money I ever pissed away XD
I actually do. On a back road, you'd be SHOCKED how close they are. I like the extra power, but all the extra expense of the V8 is tough to justify sometimes. Until I get that ZL1, that is
If everything goes right, I'll be going from a Veloster N to an SS 1LE as well within the next couple weeks. How different is the clutch/shifter compared to the N?
The 1LE has a twin disc clutch so it does feel a bit different but you get use to it fast. The shifter on the Camaro is much more positive and notchy in a good way.
Theres a part... I forgot what its called, that you can install to bypass the 1st to 4th shift. Its relatively cheap from what I remember too. Under $100. Might be worth it if you dont wanna deal with that anymore
The SS 1LE is a completely different level…on the track. On the street, especially a tight mountain road, with good drivers, the V6 could honestly keep up.
Been watching your channel for a while and im on a similar path. About to trade my turbo in for a N... and hopefully if things go right in a couple years I should be looking for a ss 1le myself
Yo Eric, I'm working my way closer and closer to picking up the 1SS 1LE. Question for you if you see this. I noticed that the Manual Camaro 1LE has a 3.73 rear end listed, and I saw most of the Automatic Camaros having a 2.77 rear. Any idea if that helps torque delivery with the manual? I'm sure the long gear on the auto probably has to do with it having so many got dang gears, lol. Hey man, Rev match ain't no crime dude! I'm 55 and my heel/toe ain't what it used to be, wasn't never that great to start with TBH 🤣😂😂😂. I think Rev match is one of the coolest additions I've seen over the past few years, freaking brilliant IMO.
Yeah man, I decided about a year ago that I wanted to pick up a modern V8 muscle car and I started doing some research. Initially I was going to trade my Veloster N but I believe I'm going to keep it and continue to commute to work with it, unless the next dealer will give me what I want 😀, but I'm not going to lose a couple thousand dollars just to get it gone. I've got a couple of cars out there I can trade, but everywhere I have gone to talk turkey, they have been less than willing to pay a fair number. I know Camaros aren't selling terribly well, so I guess they're trying to make their commissions out of my trade 😂😂. They don't know me very well 😂😂😂
Is there any way to disable 1st to 4th. I'm ordering a 2ss 1le 6 spd. Dealer told me about the skip shift but I thought he was bs'ing me. Not a deal breaker though
Yeah, they make bypass systems but I don't think it's worth it. Just have to slightly change the way you drive it's really just a minor annoyance sometimes

I actually bought it used from my local dealer so I didn't pick all the options. If I had to do it over I'd definitely have spec'd a new one

8:48 if only they had heated shift knob 😂
Thank you for this video 👍
Very beautiful!! CAMARO ❤🤍💙

Do you think for the six GEN the speedo says 200 miles an hour or is that a two SS thing? my 2014 1 SS manual said 180 as top speed
Oh, which tires you got there? I just bought a 2nd hand 1LE and it has the eagle F1 on them but they are due for a change.
Continental DWS06+ they're great
@@CarolinaAutos Thank you!
How are the tires holding up? Do you still like them?
Sold this car and bought a 2015 1LE - put these same tires on that one too - they hold up great and drive great in all conditions
@@CarolinaAutos what made you change for the older 1le?
You thinking about that Elantra N as a daily?
Actually I'm leaning towards the Kona N
Do you miss the v6 at all?
I actually do. On a back road, you'd be SHOCKED how close they are. I like the extra power, but all the extra expense of the V8 is tough to justify sometimes. Until I get that ZL1, that is
Skip shift is depends on the rpm i believe. If you rev it high enough in first gear it does let you go in second.
Yep sure enough
I have the same car, but mine is a 2021

Damn that a big jump. Why u wanna get rid of the N?
@@ll.7927 SS 1LE is just an attainable dream car and I got offered 9k over what I owed on the N so I just took the opportunity.

Yeah I've seen them, but I also saw someone who'd shorted a few circuits installing one so I'm hesitant to put something like that on there
Have you ever thought about getting mud flapps? Or do you think it's pointless?
I'd thought about it but seeing a few pictures, it's just not something I would do to my car
How does it compare to your v6? You still didn’t say why you left and traded in v6 for ss? How is the SS1le handling compare to v61le? Please tell.
The SS 1LE is a completely different level…on the track. On the street, especially a tight mountain road, with good drivers, the V6 could honestly keep up.
And I bought the V8 because people kept making fun of me 😂
My mom told me that if I did'nt have anything nice to say about someone , not to say anything at all.
Did she also tell you to like your own comments, putz?
Been watching your channel for a while and im on a similar path. About to trade my turbo in for a N... and hopefully if things go right in a couple years I should be looking for a ss 1le myself
Dude that's awesome to hear! Thanks for watching along while I've grown the channel and best of luck in getting where you want to be
@@CarolinaAutos thanks man hopefully all goes well with me getting the N. What a awesome car looking back at all your older videos again
Why your engine light on💡bro????
Haha, I need to weld up a hole in the exhaust that's right next to an O2 sensor
@@CarolinaAutos oh ok👌🏾
You have to use premium gas

Yeah the 10 speed autos don't need such a short rear-end ratio because their 1st gear is very short and gears 8-10 are all overdrive essentially
you have a better mpg than me with my 2019 camaro RS how is that possible hahaha Nice ride btw !
Haha, not when I get on it!
Nice car b you only live ones.
Haha thanks - that's about all that was going through my head when I was signing the paperwork
