this video brings back some of the good old day memories..i lived there when i was 9 and it was one of the most joyful days of my life..cn tower, eaton centre, ice hockey fields, school, the way people say hello each other at street in christmas season, beautiful royal ontario museum, beautiful orchestra music from schools, parties, public library..damn, i love toronto thank you for this awesome video and others!
you probably dont give a shit but if you are bored like me during the covid times then you can stream pretty much all the latest movies on InstaFlixxer. Have been streaming with my girlfriend lately =)
Brr. I can almost feel the wind cutting through. Great walk and thanks for taking the extra time to show the map and the timestamps. I know that takes a fair amount of time. I admire the way you can keep track of where you walked. I always forget which path I took. -Henry
Thanks! I do the maps by memory (I know the city pretty well) and they only take a few minutes to animate, the time stamps are a bit more tedious but I think it's worth it. When I do walks in other city's then I really struggle mapping out my route lol.
#15th 5👌 a pretty cold walk! thanks for sharing this upload....I have some much knowledge now where to go when i visit Toronto in the summer ☺ thanks again 👍
Joey Wong it’s usually really snowy but not as much here because it’s downtown ( a very beautiful place with very nice attractions) but in smaller parts of the city the snow can get up to 2-3 ft high
Phew! Minus 20 was like today! I live in Halifax & it was a cold day today as I did my walking around downtown Halifax. I had to go in some buildings to get warmed up because of that, it was minus 10-13 & it was definitely a cold walk. Going for walks at the mall is good where it’s heated up & a lot less cold
That's a good idea... but there's only so many malls and they're not as interesting on film. If I wasn't recorded I'd for sure have been indoors lol. Halifax? Wow, this must have been nothing for you.
@@JohnnyStrides I would like to see your perspective on the Waterfront trail for one. The City is building a trail along the old Hydro easement between Mississauga Road and Park Royal. Summer is better for walking here than winter.
Juan Lopez You just have to go to the right place in Canada. Victoria is a mild city with a year-round golf season. Here is a live cam of Victoria Golf Club. Ain't it gorgeous? It's winter now and look at how lush-and-green it is. th-cam.com/video/z_XVIEgEjVA/w-d-xo.html
@@ryanrivera5510 It is fairly expensive; but definitely not THE most expensive. In fact...I believe Toronto is considerably more expensive. Any way - look at the pics during the day and you'll see why people want to be there!
Hello there! I was just wondering... I’ll be there in one week and it’s my first time ever in there. Is it a little bit less cold than what this video pictures? I mean... does it feel a little bit non-cold in March? Or is it just the same ? Really nice video, btw.
Thanks and I hope you enjoy your time in Toronto! The weather in winter time here is extremely unpredictable. A day where it's -1 will feel nice if there's no wind, the next day might be +1 and feel much colder. We'll have days that are feel like spring and others that are absolutely freezing. The best thing to do is just bring layers of clothing so you can be prepared for everything! I don't feel that cold when I'm walking around outside but others feel freezing so I'm not sure if that's a good measure. I don't even wear gloves when I record these.
For living or traveling? I don't know Vancouver all that well but if you like nature, mountains etc then I think it's the obvious choice, if you like big cities Toronto is.
¿por qué siempre en Toronto están arreglando alguna pista/edificio o algo? Siempre hay construcciones en plena ciudad pendientes por acabar. No entiendo, es de nunca acabar.
I can tell that a lot of the comments here were NOT made by actual Torontonians hahaha real Torontonians we don't care about how cold it is hahah -20? Bitch please hahah still! Nice walk and beautiful video! Thanks for it! I love my city!
You're welcome and yeah, most of us don't care about the temp outside lol A lot of people started asking me what the temperature was so I just started including it at the beginning of the videos.

watching this in the midst of a heatwave make you appreciate it even more
I remember wearing winter boots right up to March.
Thanks, hopefully we'll have more nice days like today and less heat!

a nice city indeed, and doesn't seem to be as snowy as the rumors said. Hope to go there someday after the pandemic.

Much cleaner and better than many US cities.
It only looks clean because the wind blew the garbage away but it’s usually like a dumpster
Thanks for the vídeo! I am going to Toronto in feb 22 😍
What an amazing video as always my friend, enjoyable and fantastic! This is the bar set for my videos!

Nothing compares to the -20 early this morning in Toronto !! 😛🥶
This morning was nuts! Hopefully it's not so freezing this weekend, I need to record some walks as I have nothing on the hard drive right now lol

Yeah on decent weather days, I go for walks outside, I go all over the entire city pretty much
Good walk; lots of interest here for someone from Mississauga.
Thank you! I grew up in Port Credit and Lorne Park. I need to get out to Mississauga and do some recording this summer :)

Hey I’m looking at maybe going to Toronto February 2024. Would you say it’s best to visit in other times of the year?
Not winter.
Cool. Will maybe try October 2024 then. Hopefully won’t be as bad weather wise
@@JohnnyStrides what is July like to visit?

What would ya suggest vancouver or toronto

Isn't this true of any major city? It's more effective to have your infrastructure upgrades done in various areas over time than all at once.
🤩

March 22, these streets are empty now.
There's far less people out that's for sure!
