Save your dryer lint and rub it with vaseline or petroleum jelly to use as the best possible fire starter! Also can help with keeping it going. Just light it up and throw it in
Hey man Ive been watching your channel for a few months since buying a sequoia, and finally realized the other day that Ive been seeing yours in town near where live. Just never made the connection till now.
I have a first gen Toyota sequoia and the moment I am out of college I will be following in your footsteps! You inspire me, keep up the amazing work! I’m curious what mods do you recommend first?
If you find larger diameter dry trees and SPLIT them, the middle is dry and will burn nicely and leave you with glowing coals! That place looked picked out. You might need to stop along the way in for Good Wood pickings. Get some Mylar space blankets for over your bag and under your down cover and one under you as well. Roll up in it all like a BIG Burrito! LOL Find a SUV end tent that contains the entire working area in the back. This way weather won't stop you unless Blizzard or Hurricane sideways weather. Staying Dry and Warm is mandatory! Everything else sucks!
You need a grill. And a dog. Or a cat. Sure do miss my sequioa. Even my wife has told me to look for another one, which I have been. Gonna make a trip up to Eugene pretty soon for some snow time fun. Cheers
Wish more young people would get out and have adventures! Life is so short! Good job! Keep up the journeys! Enjoyed!
Safe travels
Next purchase for your setup Should be a 180 or 270 awning it would make things so much better especially in not so nice weather.
