    Today is a right off due to the approaching hurricane/tropical storm Isaiah. So I’m all geared up for watching this complete series again. She who must be obeyed thinks I’m insane, but I love seeing this beast grow from being a pile of castings and sheet metal to a thing of beauty. To be honest, I can’t wait for the piping (I was particularly crap at that bit, I want to learn how it should be done 😀).

    Fascinating to watch. What upsets me a little is all that lovely polished brass and copper ends up covered over in paint...

    Thank you, I have always wondered how the smoke box radius was cut at the base of the chimney and now I know.

    Great work. I see regularly your contributions. Where do you get the brass tube for the smoke box from? I hat to realize that the wider diameters usually have got a much too large thickness.

    Thanks for sharing! I liked your whirling Blades of death. Not something I would think of because my mill can't be turned like that but it's a technique to keep in mind. How many rivets did you install? Glad you're safe.

    That was a manky old casting for the chimney, you had your work cut out there. But you've made a cracking job of it. Well done, fantastic model engineering. I take it those rivets are just cosmetic? Oh by the way you can have the rest of the weekend off. All Best and Keep Safe.

    • @no23mk2
      @no23mk2  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Cheers Dave - Yes rivets are cosmetic - as for the weekend off - no such luck working 7 days a week from now on so videos will be a bit sparse!
