I attended Amit’s show first time in Hard Rock Cafe in Hyderabad way back in 2015-16 … my first stand up attendance and this was the show that got me hooked to stand up comedy shows.
Amit sir is pure❤ He gave many of us 40+ year olds a platform like chalees PE talees to perform stand up comedy. He genuinely helps and guides. Respect always. Thanks guptaji for bringing him here.
Great episode! Amit has been my key inspiration for doing comedy after I first saw him perform in Goa. Have had the privilege to open for him and meet him a few times since then and he has always given the best advice and encouragement as a senior comic. I was introduced to stand up comedy by Amit's fancy dress wala video only❤. Tab se aaj tak stand up comedy ka addiction ho gaya. He is so relatable in family issues. Love him. God bless💕👍.
I still remember that in childhood I used to watch the recorded standups of raju sir on sahara One, and used to love them, and then somewhere in 2015 or 16, when whatsapp and hike was on peak, when we used to forward the videos, comedy videos, I was having my father's phone and there was some 2-3min video, which was of amit sir, and it was that facebook video, where he is saying about the people who are posting things on facebook, and after watching the video it was like After many years seeing some standup comedian it was like so happy to see because I always loved this form of comedy. And after many years when standup was viral, in 2020 I saw a video of amit sir again, and I realised that its the same guy whose video I saw on whatsapp and then went to his channel, watched all the videos he uploaded. Feeling really happy to know so many things about him!! and my father also loves his comedy because its relatable for him!!!
Very well said , many people which we help don't even have capacity to have food of one time a Day , many people still crib that the don't have a fancy job or waste stuff , come to us we will show , what people are going through
Stand up is overrated.Youngsters are so deprived of family fun,friendship and laughter,so they come for cheap thrills. However Amit,Gaurav Gupta and a few others really laughter and fun that stays on.
