Man I’m still babying my mt09 lol. You boys are ripping it! Love it! I ride mostly on city roads and haven’t pushed it like I want to.
Nothing wrong with that as long as you are having fun. The great thing about the mt09 is it never gets boring.

Probably just the exhaust and the map leaning out where the lift control is trying to do it’s magic. My bike is stock and I don’t get any cutting out but I also don’t have power to lift the wheel in 2nd between 25-30mph so it seems like the tune is helping at the bottom end in 1st and 2nd but disagreeing with the imu trying to keep you from looping out. I saw someone say to turn tcs off or lift off. I would suggest against that. The way you chop throttle to power wheelie. You might outride your capability. I’d say try tcs-1 and see if it’s still cutting fuel. If it is you might need to go to a tuner because the map is leaning out the fuel when it shouldn’t and it can blow the engine from detonation on the pistons because the air/fuel mapping is off

@gregmochty1836 I didn’t always ride that hard lol the bike is just so easy to control that it allows you to push your limits. Like you said I ride pretty hard and I’ve had zero issues with the clutch.
What mode in LIF do you have ? i got mine in 1 and it does not do that. i can do power wheelie from 20 km/h to until rev limit i dont't dare to click in second gear :P
My bike is tuned and I leave it in mode one and power mode 2
@@SOCALMOTOBROS i got mode M and lif in 1 that's all i changed and power mode 1 and mine is also tuned i got akra, full system and some times if i want to annoy ppl i put on my austin slipon =P but mine does not do that.
Try putting your tcs mode to 1 cause that sets everything to 1 where as the M mode is customizable and slip control and traction control could be set to something besides 1 which will also cut power.

@@SOCALMOTOBROS hello my bike does not do that like ur in either 1 or everything off or in manual mode what i have lif to 1 only, you should contact ur tuner Ask what it is and how to get rid of it:o
Never a dull moment with an MT. The only way imho to describe this bike is “eager” lol. It’s definitely a mood 😅

Cool video. About the cutting off. Try with lift controle and traction controle off. Problem should be solved. Heads up. It comes up way quicker so watch out. I know this frome personal experience. I have the mt 09 2021 😁

Late to the party but the electronics will keep the bike from doing wheelies bro. If you turn off the electronics it will wheelie with ease. Be careful tho as it will loop out on ya. I had a 2018 MT09 and had to turn off the traction control to wheelie it and could do some pretty decent wheelies on it. I now have the 2023 MT09 SP and just getting used to it.
Should go for a ride on sage rode in Hemet.

sick video again, man. dont worry about getting gapped lmao. i used to gap my buddies on their 600s when I was on my MT03 (in the twisties). Also, what windscreen is that because ive been looking for a windscreen but i dont want to pay close to 200 for a Puig

If you’re on the shorter side I think it might work better for you cause for me it pushes the air in my face which at high speeds or even just on the freeway I feel like it’s going to rip my head off lol
