I remember after I broke up with my fiancé that I jumped right into another relationship without thinking. Sadly, the relationship didn't work out after a few months. I gave myself a month and a half to myself before I got into my current relationship and I've felt very happy with my bf.

There are some genuinely warm stories in here that I love to see, especially after I got out of a very stale long relationship (4 years).
It wasn't that it was bad, my ex was OK, but it just never satisfied me that much. I felt obligated to keep things going and that slowly chipped away at my image of what a healthy relationship is.
Now I'm finally breathing free, I'm much less afraid to be comfortable and close to my friends, and things are going well
The beginning made my heartbeat drop and once Tirox came in _I didn't know_ if I should be mad or relieved. Once that part was cleared I just started smiling and imploding with all these positive emotions like _whaaa_ `* ↖(^▽^)↗* *`*
Also thank you for all these relationship advice. I'm gonna need them for any potential candidates and it's nice to know what I might be doing wrong or what I should improve even further on.

THEY SHOULD HAVE 1M SUBS
On the kitchen issue as a friend with 10 years experience and assuming you're both working in the kitchen, I have 2 solutions:
1) ONE person gets to cook dinner. You can easily alternate who cooks dinner if that's a thing. The other person gets OUT.
2) Depending on the size of your kitchen, divide it into two stations: hot side and cold side. Hot side cooks, cold side preps. This way both people have their own space and do not get in each other's way as much. ALWAYS call out to the other person when you're moving. "Coming through" or "Behind" are the easiest.

I've been in a long term relationship with my partner for a while now, and we've got our own system figured out for when I'm stressed out or have arguments, I recommend everyone figure out a system like that sooner than later for a healthier relationship
relationships are like swordfighting. In past ages, you had to do it because of necessity/for not die but today, you can just chill together and have it for fun.And if someone deflects/attacks too well, its awesome to try to learn new techniques but sometimes, you both just work too different too be able to have an enjoyable fight. Same happens if you change too much or too little. But (and thats were the metaphor breaks) when using a sword to talk, its sometimes difficult to just chill a little and adapt your fighting syle. Some loose themselves in adaption and others loose themselves to conservatism. And thats when its time to chill and have a pause to be able to reasses the techniques. And then, you can either continue, fight with multiple people, talk and come to a conclusion. But just continuing because you dont know any better will never get you to the point where you can stop or continue and you just move on because you can adapt/stay the same forever.
TLDR: hardships/imperfections are vital to know why you are even doing all of this. To try out new styles and evolve while also changing as yourself and withh your partner. And that requires communication and most of the time its not the things you always talk about but the things that you think you know are your motivation, not the way it manifests in your relationship.
PS: am aroace, so all of this was basically just guessin lol. Take my advice with a shitload of salt🦆🍰
