Looks great! You could brush on a coat of antiquing wax if you wanted to make the drums look older or more vintage. You could always wipe it off if you didn't like it.
So many beautiful things. We don’t have anything like this in our thrift stores in the uk. I’d be like a kid in a candy shop! Love the two items you bought home particularly the tree skirt it perfect for your theme of toy land. Xx
I’m so glad you brought home those drums, they fit into your decor beautifully. I like the color, I don’t think they’re too bright at all. You have impeccable taste.
So nice! It is hard to select just a few things when so much of the goodies that you see are definitely " Eye candy". You have wonderful taste for your decor. Seems like you always know just where you are going to put each piese when it comes home with you. Enjoy your Thanksgiving holiday! Looking forward to your next video!
Everything you do is beautiful. It is amazing to me that you are so young and love antiques as much as I do. My daughter does not like antique shopping, so I always have to go alone.
Hi Danielle! Ohhh my..i would be overwhelmed! Loll i almost felt it thru the video!😳😄 I loved the Burberry bear at 1:25! I loved the plaid throw blanket one that you brought home, it looks like it may have be vintage.🤷♀️ Years ago i had some of those white angels, had them in clear with gold wings also. For A few years i did my tree in white, gold, & crystal or clear. I also loved the throw you were looking at & wanted to show us. Back when throws first became popular they were made this way.. which was in the late 80's. The placemats you looked at would make beautiful little throw pillows, just like the pillow with the dove on it you were looking at right after the placemats. I made a bunch of them about 6yrs ago, with the tapestry material. I just hot glued them & stuffed them with pillow stuffing. I also added embellishments like Christmas buttons, bored, tiny bells, a little glitter glue. They were really pretty! Love the rocking horses!😊 Oh Goodness.. the brass angels were gorgeous!😮 And that piece of art with the angel.. both the art & the frame was stunning!!❤ So many beautiful placemats, those at 7:31 were so pretty! Lol all i see is throw pillows now!😄 Pretty tablecloths too. The Noel pillow was beautiful! I love the tapestry style pillows, that's the kind of stockings I'd love to find, like the one you want to go back for, which i loved! I'd love to find some vintage ones! The candy cane wine glasses were so pretty & unique! Loved the tins.. loved the cookie factory one & the Victorian looking one you held up at 11:56. You could try the antiquing wax on the drums, it'll dull the shine & make them look older. I thought the tree skirt looked like a throw blanket too!😄 But it looks really pretty under your tree! Enjoyed the video! Pray you have a blessed & Happy Thanksgiving!🙏🏻🦃
The two things you brought home are amazing. I was thinking as I watched, please don't pass these drums up. And I love trains so I was so excited to see you got the tree skirt. This thrift store was a great place to shop. It has some awesome stuff. Some a little high in price but over all a great place.
Thanks for sharing your Christmas shopping video! All the things are so pretty! It is really hard to find true vintage items such as ornaments in my area. If you find them you better buy them because before long they will be obsolete. Love your videos!❤
1st of all, you look nice in green! I didn't read the comments in case it was mentioned but what about some gold rub n buff on the ropes and buttons on the drum set? I love the toy cabinet-so cute. I am drawn to old vintage things/antiques too. They speak to my soul!
The drums look cute in your “Toyland” cabinet😂 It is a very pretty tree skirt, it does look big enough that if you threw it over the couch or chair it may look like a throw? In any event it’s cute!
Nice haul !How on earth did I miss you decorating your cabinet though !! What I cute idea ,now I’m looking to see if there is a video for that .❤IT! Have a good Thanksgiving Daniel
Hi Danielle, I enjoy watching your videos. For the red drum set you purchased in this video, you can tone down the sparkle and shine by using Waverly Antiquing Wax to them. Apply it in small sections using an artist's paint brush, then wipe it/dab it off with a lint free rag. This product is like magic and can be used to age a lot of items. I buy mine at Walmart. Happy Thanksgiving 🦃
Danielle, that was so fun!! I love to see what shops in other areas are offering for Christmas. Your treasures were just the perfect addition to your decor. Thank you for taking us with you! Wishing you & you family a Happy Thanksgiving!
You can change the red twine out on the drums and use gold twine and paint the little buttons gold. I think that would make it look more vintage. And make it not so bright. Or even use a brown twine.
Love those drums plus the bonus that you can use them to pack ornaments in them after Xmas! I would’ve been tempted to buy those toadstool ornaments (at 10:02 ) even at $20.
Your new buys are very pretty. Like you, I thought I bought a vintage embroidered table scarf in the thrift store recently. It was stapled together with a tag that said so. When I got it home, however, it turned out t be a large pillow case! I can still fold it and use it on a cabinet so it ended up alright.
Hi Danielle and Jackson and Lincoln ❤ fun trifting trip thank u ur trifting finds are so cute and look so pretty always Laura thank you happy thanksgiving 🦃
I have the throw you showed at the store and said you wanted to show the whole throw! I change my mind a lot on what I like too! Those angels you wanted were spectacular! Happy Thanksgiving Danielle! 💓💓💓
I was guessing yes on the drums. I like the red but if you wanted to tone it down could you slip ribbon/gift wrap behind the drum strings. I've been picking up tins the last 5 years but haven't used them yet. I hope you show us if you decorate w/them. I seem to be in a decor drought for tin ideas.
Well that was enjoyable! Ironically the very first Santa you showed in their display- I have!!! And I know I got it for a better price so that made me feel good!😂Love the drums! I would have bought them too. Our design esthetic is similar. I have a blanket almost like your tree skirt and I am also doing Santa’s work shop theme for my grandkids. It’s been fun thrifting vintage toy themed ornaments. Wonder if that bejeweled fruit is making a comeback? I still have mine and can’t seem to part with it. I guess I love my old curated stuff and not so much a fan of the cookie cutter trends. I appreciate your style because you stay true to it.❤ It’s very specific but always lovely!☺️
I definitely wouldn't have any money if I had a store like that neer me. I live in NC, and I don't know where the vintage Christmas is. Beginning to think they didn't celebrate christmas. You are one lucky gal. Everything looks wonderful, and it's not even Thanksgiving yet.
Enjoyed your finds it all looks wonderful in your home! Can you tell me about your heart locket ? Is there anything inside? Your music choices are Divine!! Thanks
It’s just a vintage locket that I recently got, but I do have another from childhood with a photo of my dad in it that my mom has tucked away. I need to get it from her! Thank you for watching!
Everything looks wonderful, Danielle. I was at TJ Maxx today and saw toile gift bags in pastel shades and thought of you. Did you ever put the mushrooms on your Ebay? I am doing my kitchen in red and white mushrooms with maybe a few gnomes placed randomly. I am trying to replicate my mother's Christmas decorating and keep everything more minimalist. It was the 60s and nobody had much money and there wasn't so much for sale. Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours.
Thank you! & yes, I listed them right after that video & they sold pretty quick! I honestly thought it might have been you. I’m so sorry! I hope you can find something similar!
That early bird stuff is crazy that's like cheating or something. I don't know it seems so unfair but I would have definitely paid 15 bucks, though. LOL
Looks great! You could brush on a coat of antiquing wax if you wanted to make the drums look older or more vintage. You could always wipe it off if you didn't like it.
I’ve also used a mahogany oil based stain to make red stuff more burgundy. The smell needs to dissipate but it works great.
I was thinking the same thing, also she could repaint the drums one color and the rope black or gold.
So many beautiful things. We don’t have anything like this in our thrift stores in the uk. I’d be like a kid in a candy shop! Love the two items you bought home particularly the tree skirt it perfect for your theme of toy land. Xx
Id be the kid right behind you
The drums look great! I would have purchased that Victorian purse ornament. ❤
I’m so glad you brought home those drums, they fit into your decor beautifully. I like the color, I don’t think they’re too bright at all. You have impeccable taste.
Love the cabinet display !!!
.
Love the drums and the tree skirt is so pretty…great choice!!♥️✨🥁
I’m so surprised that’s all you bought. I saw so many things that I thought you’d love. Some of the prices were wonderful.😊😊’
That green sweater looks beautiful on you. 😊
Thank you!
She looks beautiful in that
I LOVED the drums and the tree skirt !!! Adorable !!! So happy you were able to snatch them up !!! ❤
So nice! It is hard to select just a few things when so much of the goodies that you see are definitely " Eye candy". You have wonderful taste for your decor. When I saw the drums I thought I would buy those!! Can’t wait for your full home tour!!❤
Everything you do is beautiful. It is amazing to me that you are so young and love antiques as much as I do. My daughter does not like antique shopping, so I always have to go alone.
Me too
The only friend (2) passed away. My dtr don't like anything that isn't modern. Don't know who's dtr she is .😂
Me, too! I have three daughters who are not interested in antiques at all. I prefer going alone anyway so I can take my time.

Great finds and even though the drums are shiny, I think they look great. I like the tree skirt a lot, too! Fun 🤶🚂🎄🎁😊
I hear you with the Toy land . I do have a few things in the Archives LOL. Maybe I’ll display some ❤ as always TFS and inspo
The red drums look so nice in your cabinet! The tree skirt is pretty!!

The drums are perfect!!🎄😊
There's a powder called "decrepit dust" that you could apply with a paintbrush to those shiny drums. I'm enjoying your journey!
Wow! I gotta find me some of that!
The drums look cute in your “Toyland” cabinet😂
It is a very pretty tree skirt, it does look big enough that if you threw it over the couch or chair it may look like a throw? In any event it’s cute!
They really were festive over there! Loved it! Your pick ups were great additions Danielle ❤🌲🎅
Not gunna lie I thought you would grab that little plaid teddy bear😂
Great finds! I love the tree skirt. I thought it was a blanket also.😆 But it’s cool that it looks like that!
Nice haul !How on earth did I miss you decorating your cabinet though !! What I cute idea ,now I’m looking to see if there is a video for that .❤IT! Have a good Thanksgiving Daniel

Danielle, you could try that antique wax on top of those drums on just a little spot. See if it made them look older
I would have bought the bell ornaments! They were stunning! I found brand new, never opened tins at goodwill. And it had the next two sizes in it!
Love the boxes!!!
Love those drums plus the bonus that you can use them to pack ornaments in them after Xmas!

You could put rub n buff on the drum roping!! That would be really pretty
Hi Danielle and Jackson and Lincoln ❤ fun trifting trip thank u ur trifting finds are so cute and look so pretty always Laura thank you happy thanksgiving 🦃
Thank you Laura! Happy Thanksgiving to you too!
I paid 20 bucks for those glass Bezos are so pretty so pretty they're vintage
I have the throw you showed at the store and said you wanted to show the whole throw! I change my mind a lot on what I like too! Those angels you wanted were spectacular! Happy Thanksgiving Danielle! 💓💓💓
It’s such a pretty blanket!! Thank you, Happy Thanksgiving!
Your home is so beautiful

I’m thinking of stacking them on top of the fridge! Either in a wire milk basket or just in layered stacks! I’ll share it soon if it works out!

I think the sugared fruit will make a comeback by the next year or two! It’s pretty! Thank you for watching!
Try to find some drumsticks to lay on top of the drums! Love your styling!!!

I’m watching your video and my husband reminds me to close my mouth 🤤….😂. So many beautiful things! 😍🎄
Lol I am that crazy lady you fear you will turn into!😅
So be it! Haha
Love your videos.
Thank you!

It’s just a vintage locket that I recently got, but I do have another from childhood with a photo of my dad in it that my mom has tucked away. I need to get it from her! Thank you for watching!
The drums are pretty. You could just use some darker antiquing wax to tone them down.
Good idea! I never think about antiquing wax.
