They are trim pieces for FRP (Fiber Reinforced Plastic) and are at Home Depot and Lowe's. Those particular ones go in between 2 panels. They also have inside and outside corners and edge pieces.

Chrome interior on a drag car is very realistic they pull the interior to make car lite.
