Fun fact, they would’ve been very hungry to eat a human… I think everyone knows that and also not all animals are food for wolves! Wolves only eat surtwnt things with there breed of wolf they’d never eat a tiger unless it’s ABSOLUTELY necessary.
Like many large carnivores, wolves are generally afraid of humans and will avoid people, buildings, and roads if possible. The risk of wolves attacking or killing people is low. As with other wildlife, it is best not to feed wolves and to keep them at a respectful distance.
And apparently all of them were negative and/or he is absolutely full of shit. My father works with a wolf rehabilitation..my kids have literally slept WITH wolves. This man uses fear mongering as a means to pull in views which, as someone who knows animals and thinks conservation methods are imperative this entire bullshit narrative is frightening.
Wolves are so misunderstood! They wouldn’t want attack a human, it’s very rare for them to, like if their pack was in grave danger and they thought they could stop danger from happening.
Are we food...then they just moved off eh? I guarantee you that they were more likely thinking " what are these genocidedal, bloodthirsty predators doing, hunting in our territory when we all know that they have plenty to eat 🤔
You clearly don't know much about wolves do you? I'm a biologist, ecologist, and even a rancher here in Wyoming. Studying predators (obviously including wolves) for over 25 years, I would be more than happy to educate you on the subject.
I love the acknowledgement that they were looking at him as food but decided he wasn’t. Because if they really did see him as food, he wouldn’t have gotten out alive. Wolves are smart and emotional animals. Not something to fear but definitely deserve our respect.
Extremely rare indeed. Wolf attacks are usually out of pure desperation in hunger or if you step into the middle of a territorial feud/fight for leadership. They’re more than smart enough after a few moments to know that they’re up against an extremely intelligent predator (humans). Wolves are some of the smartest mammals on earth and while I wouldn’t say were definitively off of their menu, were absolutely something that even a medium sized pack would think twice about. Remember, to most wolves, were basically aliens.

@easttowest7839 False. Wolves have NEVER eaten humans, therefore we are not on the menu. Period. Contrary to popular belief, not ALL predators will eat just anything. The only predators who do, are not mammals, those types of predators are reptiles.
Bro, I was running late night off a trail one time and a pair of coyotes popped in front of me. I just screamed at the top of my lungs with my thumb blade flashing and they decided to leave me alone
My ex girlfriend and I had a real bad experience with a pack of coyotes years ago. I had a .22 rifle on me thankfully or else I think we probably would have been killed. It was late winter/early spring and they were HUNGRY.
From 2002 to 2020 researchers uncovered at least 26 fatal attacks by wolves, with the most (12) in Turkey. There were six fatal attacks in Iran, four in India, and one each in Canada, the United States, Tajikistan and Kazakhstan.
Wolves are smart. And they have seen humans before. They knew you were hunting and assessing if you were a threat. Probably curious as well. They decided to move on.
Don't we get so sick of every new boy on the Block coming back with a wolf or bear story I hunted all my life in these places if I had a wolf come up to me they just don't do it how to say to you by accident they go real fast away from you I have to say one more time this is b******* or way exaggerated
The wolves probably realized that this guy probably isn't one to mess with if he's stalking a big bull on his own. They're smart. I'm sure the guy would have gotten jacked up but there would have been a lot of dead wolves with bullet holes in em laying around
That's why? They need guns because they WON'T attack? You did fully listen and comprehend what was said in this video, correct? If anything this would prove a gun WASN'T necessary. They do not hunt when they are full.
They are always thinking of the next meal even while eating.
Always on the hunt

They smelt the gun and lead. They knew that those guys entered the wilderness as humans not tree huggers
that's not how that works
You rarely ever hear, in an overcrowded world, of wolves attacking and eating man.
Again, wolves rarely attack humans. Very, very rarely. We are not on their list of food items.
Correct. Could they and can they duck us up. Absolutely.

never heard of wolves attacking people, most people attacked was from coyotes
I think wolves can't tell if your food because of the how we walk is so weird to them
And even then coyotes are only like 15 lbs. if a grown man manages to lose to something barely bigger than a fox, that’s embarrassing as hell lmao
Go tell that in Russia...
@inthewoods5494 well one coyote is obviously a joke but a whole pack of them is quite dangerous
