never knew china has places like this! im super impressed. adding chengdu jiuzhaigou to my bucket list. will also be traveling to yunnan for similar scenery really love traveling to china!
I plan to book train ticket for december 2024, but seems we cannot book in advance more than 2 weeks ahead. Are you experiencing the same thing? Just afraid we won’t get ticket.
I think I booked it within 2 weeks from the trip. So am not sure how advance u can get it from Trip.com! you may email them to enquire. I hope u have a good trip!
Hi, understand that currently there is a direct train from chengdu east to huanglong zhaigou station. Can you share information about this? And may I know what hotel did you stay at that enables a walking distance to Jiuzhaiqou valley entrance? Thanks!
Hi. Do you think its wise to take the bus from the train station to Jiuzhaiguo with a 20month old? Or would a 9 seater minivan be better? Also, you video shows that you bought a 2-way trip. How come you said its only valid for one day and a seperate ticket is needed to return?
The bus should be alright, but if you need more flexibility with toilets breaks etc, catering a private van could be better. for the bus return from jiuzhaigou to zhenjiangguan station, we were allocated a bus time that was too late to catch our train back to chengdu city. So we ended up taking a private car down to the station early in the morning.
Hi Louie, thks for this very informative video. I plan to take the train to ZhenJiangGuan n thereafter take a taxi or Grab to Huang Long for a visit. Are there any taxis at ZJG station?
if im not wrong, didi app should be readily available. there are also private car drivers asking if you want to a ride, but am not sure how much they charge!
The 2 toilet breaks are within the start 30mins- 1 hour of the bus ride! After that no toilet breaks. The 5 alighting stops at the end are drop off points depending on where ur hotel is located! They’re just few mins drive from each other.
It’s more of a community livelihood for the villagers. you can buy it when you reach the village and there’s different routes to choose from. They’re not pushy and definitely very friendly! :) we chose the 20 mins ride up the hill!
This is very helpful😊 May I know if taxis are readily available in the Jiuzhaigou area? Thinking to do a free and easy trip to Jiuzhaigou and Huanglong but not sure if I should charter a car
yes taxis are readily available thru the local cab hailing app Didi. However, cabs are not allowed inside the national park. But buses are easily available in the national park and should already be included in your ticket. Am not sure about huanglong as we didn’t go there this time round! But we saw that there are day tours available!
Hello thank you for sharing 😍 Btw, What's the name of the place where you went horseback riding? I'm planning a trip there and might visit that area too.
a month in advance if I’m not wrong! And make sure to check that your seats and train is confirmed before your train trip date to prevent the problem of having no confirmed slots. That would be troublesome :’)

@@lydiaoctavialumanto1772 Hey there! I happen to discover the place through a China social media platform called Xiao Hong Shu and we took a Didi taxi to and fro the place!
