i love the album so so much!! maisie actually said she decided to put tough act as last song on the album so that her debut album ends with the words "you are one tough act to follow" because her debut album will be hard to follow up on!!! her lyrics are so stunning i love her so much

I just love how honest her songs are. Like so honest and relatable. I personally love Villain, YSUFT, I'm Trying (Not Friends), John Hughes Movie, Love him I don't etccc. Like literally all Hahhaha

Maisie is definitely my favourite new artist who I discovered this year, her lyrics are so deep and her sound is gorgeous. I’d definitely recommend to you her soundtrack what she did for trying season 2 (Apple tv series). She said that it’s the little sister of her album and I still can’t decide which one I love more. All of her songs are gems.

Ever since I discovered Maisie I’ve been saying she’s as good as Taylor Swift and Lana Del Rey with her ability to write amazing lyrics and story tell. So happy you reacted to her hope she gets more recognition. I think she’s signed with Ed Sheeran’s record label which is soo cool.

I’ve been struggling (a lot) mentally lately and kinda needed something to pull me out from my dark thoughts and I’ve been binge watching your videos all afternoon and I love you!! Truly!! And seeing someone appreciate Maisie just fills my heart with so much pride bc I’ve known her since she started in music and it’s just.. it’s amazing!! tough act as the album's last song is such a nice touch because you say that the experiences she sang about in the other songs were all hard to go through, and it's basically her reflecting and singing about it as a single person she's brilliant

I LOVE THIS ALBUM!! I first listened to it back on its release date pretty blindly after I saw a TH-cam comment referring to it and it had me in chokehold until Red Taylor’s Version released. I literally switch around my favorites every time I listen to it haha. It’s so sad how underrated it is.

I’m not that big of a fan of the sound, but the lyrics are amazing. It reminds me of Taylor Swift in the way of how you can see what she’s saying… it’s so vivid.

Ah I love maisie! You should definitely listen to few other older songs that are not on this album or her EP's! I remember randomly finding one of maisie's songs on my playlist (no idea how it got there), but i was sooo happy when i found her other songs🥰
Also, I can't imagine that you never listened to Julia Michaels, but if you didnt and you want some more super honest songs, you should! I'd say you'll probably especially like her older stuff (first couple of EP's)
