U and these comments just saved me $22,000. I was thinking about buying a used 2021 camry but not anymore. Needs a new $400 electric water pump every 50,000 - 80,000 miles. 300,000 miles = 4 to 6 water pumps 🤣
My engine light just came on lastnight, I got a diagnostics & it was the code P26CB which is the engine cooler pump performance /stuck off it only has 83,600k 😒
I just barely left shop same issue with my 2019 Camry SE I appreciate this video man my electric water pump bad too propeller not spinning car over heating radiator and hose Ice cold but engine HOT asf but now gonna see what the damage is $ but great video man appreciate it just followed 💯👍
Found the motor for $95 on amazon. My dad’s shop tried to charge me $560 for the part. $750 for the labor. I told them I’d fix it myself and they laughed. 🤷🏽♂️ Question, which sealant glue would you recommend for the gasket?
Just got the P26CB code a couple hours ago on my way from work. Drove straight to auto zone to check the code, starting driving home and noticed temperature gauge rising fast. Pulled over and towed to repair shop. 115k miles
Im gonna change the water pump on my wifes 2019. And this video will help alot. One question is how do i take out the air in the coolant system? Thanks for the video brother.
@@gambollo use a big funnel that fits tight on the cap housing of the radiator, and fill it 1/4 of the funnel with coolant. Then start the car and be looking for the bubbles, when you don’t see no more bubbles then all the air is out of the system.
@@JulianfabMechanic just finished the swap and everything went good. Got the air out just how u said and and went for a ride around town and temp was good and no check engine light. I think i did good from ur video. Time will tell. Thanks again man !!!!
Also though, before you start, disconnect the hose at the EGR and put a towel under it, fill the radiator until coolant starts coming out that hose then push the hose back on and move the clamp back up. Fill the overflow tank. Fill the funnel as the OP states, run the car at 1700 to 2000 rpm so that the system fully feeds the entire paths/channels. See the video also by The Car Care Nut.
Got the same code last night on my girls car 2019 Toyota Camry 2019 hopefully I could get this repairs under warranty ? Car only has like 45,000 miles on it
