Any chance of sharing the memory panel band plan s1b files? Please :-) bought a SDRplay DX yesterday and love it just learning the band plans here in region 1 so this would make a brilliant template for the uk band plans from RSGB
Another great video. So if you use VB cable and you pipe the audio output to a decoder, then you can not hear the audio unless you open another VRX? Thanks
When you were talking about VB cable, you said it only had one connection and if you ported that to a decoding program then you could not hear it on your speakers.
Yes, VB cable is only one cable and you can monitor it if you enabled Listen to this device within your sound properties. The only restriction with VBcable is one cable
You would need to enable it in your Control Panel/Sound and select the Recording tab. Check off Listen to this device and pipe it to your main playback device.
Didn't need a VAC for my Windows10 PC to use with Argo, WSJT-X or MMTTY with SDRUno. It just worked. No only that but I can hear the signals while fine-tuning them. (Do I understand right that there is no sound if you're using one VAC? Isn't that going to make tuning much more difficult if you can't actually hear the signals?) Anyway, my Windows10 laptop? Not a chance. So I downloaded free VB audio cable and installed it but it still didn't work, even though it could be selected in all the appropriate drop-down boxes. This is what ******* people off about some software - it's almost impossible to unravel it to find which bit is not right unless you're a software expert. Great. So now I have a laptop that I can't fully use with what is otherwise a rather good RSPdx.
Mike, first of all thankyou. I have to go over your videos several times, but I am making this work! My question is if you choose the VAC for the output of VRX 0 then when you want to use the radio to listen to something, you just change the setting back? or if you make a second vrx, do you put one output to VAC and the other to speaker? so that you can decode and still hear what is going on? 73 de ve3mrx Bill
after installing the cable as explained in this video, i dont think its working, here is why, first off, im using windows 7 professional..with sdr uno running and using any decoder, the slider which is suposed to control the output from the cable does nothing, if you click on the speaker down on the right corner of the screen, a slider with a speaker and a slider with the cable icon comes up, the one for the speaker, will rase and lower the volum, but the one for the cable does nothing, this happens with...mmsstv, weather to image, jvcomm32, mmtty, fldigi and many others, is this just unique to my computer, or what ??
Thank you - got VB Audio running on RSP1A
Very welcome. Glad this video helped.
Thanks, Mike.
Such great training videos. I have learned so much from you.

I am not sure what you mean. You can monitor the VAC from selecting listen to this device via Control Panel and Sound Recording tab
.

Thanks. Love your guides.
Hi thanks for the great guide- Is it possible to monitor the audio at the same time as using VB Cable without having a second VRX?
Thank You
Ah think I got it now thanks to you other comment further down :-)

You can pass the audio from the VAC to your primary sound device allowing your to monitor the signal being decoded.

You can set 2 VRX's and set VRX1 as the primary output (your speaker) set the 2nd VRX for digital ,outputting to the VAC
A can't get SDR uno to play on ma PC
I suggest opening a support ticket

It could be unique to your system or Windows 7. I am using Windows 10 with no issues.
