    It is not clear, why you had to split it in 4 different bodies. Why not 3 or just 2 or even, why would the command 'Merge Faces' not work on the entire piece? How do you decide? You might have also split the piece in (exaduration) 50 bodies to get it done......So what makes you make the decision, it needs to be 4 bodies?

      It may have worked with 2 bodies. One guideline is to have surfaces span no more than 180 degrees because the splines don't work so well past that point.

      @@ansysfeaexamples9351 To add to this while this may have easily worked as just 2 bodies having a smaller overall geometry for Spaceclaim to merge faces tends to just work better. In addition, if the planes are placed in such a way that each body it makes has a relatively small amount of curvature then merge faces also tends works better (as Peter noted with the surface angles).

    it says cannot replacex faces with a single face.
