Bro, you didn't talk about what is perhaps the most unique thing about the show. Its power system, Nen. Its perhaps the most complex and well thought out systems in anime. I love how you can catch the basics in minutes and then you can think of so many things you can do with it. Also chimera ant arc is the best shonen arc in my opinion. You know show is doing something right when you start feeling for the villains. Favourite episode : 131. You know the one. Keep up the good work.
I literally cried at the end of chimera ant arc, when the daughter of the mother was returned. And when her mom recognized suddenly after seeing her after waiting a long period for their children to return home without eating anything (not sure). And also the king when died on the hands of the girl while playing, that was also imotional but I cried on the return scene of the daughter. That's really surprising for me because I never cried while seeing a movie since I was 13 or14, I guess. Now I am at 25 , and I watched different types of movies but literally there is something in hxh that I never found earlier.

in some episode of chimera ant arc mere seconds were written so precisely like third person opinion, characters feelings and every thing . If I'm not wrong after invasion there is 30 min after castle got devasted ...it took 5+ till that devastation. Yes, ik in many animes it happens.. but you could feel that tension along with character s ... THAT was sign of masterpiece... For me when I asked my self at 128th episode that which is most underrated character? Clear answer was narrator. Many animes use narrator for lame opening and ending episode... Chimera Ant Arc made Hunter X Hunter best shonen anime ever. Characters are very well written and are complex and interesting at the same time. It addresses philosophical and existentialist theme. In the end you will not hate even a single character in the show. Even the antagonist have sense of honour in them . I love this show.

Now that hit home for me, you said you wouldn't recommend this to beginners but that was just opposite for me. I watched this series when I had just started watching anime and was not even totally aware of vastness of anime . At that time this show was airing on ANIMAX n I started this anime cause I wanted to watch something light-hearted n well that's how it starts at least . And I liked the show and maybe it was not my fav in beginning but as the arcs progressed on the show started to become that much better..I missed the main part of that city arc (which I completed later ) . Then I caught up again from the greed island arc which was comparatively lighter in comparison to the previous arc as for it's aura n I liked it. But the point in the whole series which grabbed all my attention n one of the most Unforgettable moments was the transition from greed island arc to chimera ant arc. Just a epi back it had a light hearted fun type competitive aura n all of a sudden it transformed into this completely dark aura type . And as for the last arc many people consider it as not as good arc but for me it also a very enjoyable experience as we had just completed the dark and enthralling chimera ant arc . And placing an arc which brought back the vibes from the start of the show along with giving you seek peek at all the old characters I adore that arc too. . My fav music from this show is 'two sides of a coin' (or something like dat XD I don't exactly remember the name). Damn this was nostalgic. Sorry for such a long essay but it's just that I love this show. Btw great video I liked it. Keep up the good work.
very subjective approach i'd say. depends on how deep you can dig into something the fact that you liked it means that you had a good taste beforehand however the majority of indian anime fans starts with DBZ then go to the likes of Death Note or Naruto which is good but i don't think comprehanding with the events of HxH is as easy as getting feels while watching Naruto maybe you'were an exception but i still wouldn't recommend this to begginers :)

i cried cause i first liking the show but not in the middle but after chimera ant arc i was like man why i haven liked its a master piece but i still rated it 10/10 on mal

Now that hit home for me, you said you wouldn't recommend this to beginners but that was just opposite for me. I watched this series when I had just started watching anime and was not even totally aware of vastness of anime . At that time this show was airing on ANIMAX n I started this anime cause I wanted to watch something light-hearted n well that's how it starts at least . And I liked the show and maybe it was not my fav in beginning but as the arcs progressed on the show started to become that much better..I missed the main part of that city arc (which I completed later ) . Then I caught up again from the greed island arc which was comparatively lighter in comparison to the previous arc as for it's aura n I liked it.
But the point in the whole series which grabbed all my attention n one of the most Unforgettable moments was the transition from greed island arc to chimera ant arc. Just a epi back it had a light hearted fun type competitive aura n all of a sudden it transformed into this completely dark aura type .
And as for the last arc many people consider it as not as good arc but for me it also a very enjoyable experience as we had just completed the dark and enthralling chimera ant arc . And placing an arc which brought back the vibes from the start of the show along with giving you seek peek at all the old characters I adore that arc too. .
My fav music from this show is 'two sides of a coin' (or something like dat XD I don't exactly remember the name).
Damn this was nostalgic. Sorry for such a long essay but it's just that I love this show.

very subjective approach i'd say. depends on how deep you can dig into something the fact that you liked it means that you had a good taste beforehand however the majority of indian anime fans starts with DBZ then go to the likes of Death Note or Naruto which is good but i don't think comprehanding with the events of HxH is as easy as getting feels while watching Naruto
maybe you'were an exception but i still wouldn't recommend this to begginers :)
