This guy is immensely talented; so incredibly underrated.
I love how, starting about a minute in, this song uses a guitar buildup to trick you into thinking that it's about to hit you with the mother of all roaring sonic storms, only to flawlessly twist in a different direction and leave you marveling at its grace. Then at the end, having lulled you into lowering your guard, it brings down the hammer. Glorious.

This video makes the Twin Peaks Red Room scenes look like a student film of folks goofing around with reverse filming, while Brother Bill is doing the big things real adults do. This song is so good I can hardly stand it.
Most "popular" music today only has 3 chords because it's writer(s) have no imagination or attention span. This only has 3 chords, but it builds and falls, swells and recedes in dynamics and intensity. A beautifully written song that focuses your attention on the story being told (which is awesome and creepy AF)! Love it!

Many thanks both. So yeah I learnt the words backwards, and did some test videos to hone certain bits of the lyrics. Still not perfect but it works. Had some plans for other parts/scenes but then realised one-take-wonder was the only way forward. Gave it a few goes but ended up using the first take, had the best vibes, often the way.
