If Super Sonic from 06 & generations can resist being erased by Solaris & time eater and defeated them who can be scaled to complex multiversal-outerversal then Hyper Sonic who would be unfathomably leagues beyond stronger now could resist being erased by Thanos with the Infinity Gauntlet w/gems. Didn't Sonic survive a whole multiverse exploding by Alf Wa Layla? Also make more matchups like this where Game Sonic face different people from different verses.

I think Super Sonic would be enough, the infinity stones are universal level threats and Super Sonic already defeated a multiversal being, but good edit.
Thing is, if we play by the continuity of both universes, then Sonic even in his base form wouldn't be affected by the stones anyway. Chaos energy protects anyone who wields it from these types of hacks. The glove also can't affect anyone who's of godly descent or who can use cosmic energy.

Technically speaking : The infinite stones are useless if they are outside the universe they were created, so pretty much sonic would beat thanos in most of scenarios, as for the astral regulator, we dont really know if it can affect people from outside the marvel multiverse (overall that was a pretty good animation chief)

It’s something that 1 Shots everyone, not something he himself has a skill, so comparing it to other opponents stats wouldn’t make sense. If there were some ppl in the Marvel Comics that survived the attack, and didn’t get affected at all, then it could be comparable because we know it depends on the opponents stats, but if it kills everyone in the Marvel Universe, then there’s no way to know that it can affect anyone outside of the Universe.

Non so se ce la faccio in questo periodo, un dibattito può prendere diverse ore, e non credo di averle da oggi in poi per un po' a causa dell'Università (ieri era Pasqua e quindi mi sono più rilassato). Comunque per quanto riguarda lo scaling cerco di fare veloce, uno dei principali problemi è che Thanos non è affatto più lento di Sonic, è in grado di competere con Thor che ha diverse feat immeasurable/irrelevant, un Chaos Control in grado di mandarlo in un altro multiverso non può fermarlo visto che Thanos può creare portali per altri universi/multiversi e viaggiare attraverso dimensioni con fisiche differenti o al di fuori della comprensione (subendo gli effetti di una sorta di reality warping e ricomponendosi solo per la sua forza di volontà), Hulk selvaggio che Thanos ha sconfitto più volte, ha combattuto contro DarkCrawler (che secondo i creatori della Marvel è una forma di vita superdimensionale non identificata, come Solaris) che ha affermato che Hulk è stato il suo più forte avversario e DarkCrawler/The Nightcrawler (si, anche loro sono indecisi sul nome) ha affrontato nemici di natura incomprensibile per la mente anche più di uno alla volta. Thanos con il guanto dell'infinito è in grado di battere più astratti cosmici alla volta, che anche sotto forma di avatar, rappresentano dei concetti o degli archetipi e in "Infinity Revelation" (mi pare fosse quel fumetto) ha fatto una feat che neanche eternità era in grado di fare, fixare la realtà facendo a pugni con Adam Warlock perché Thanos è apparentemente "all'infuori della norma" (qualsiasi cosa voglia dire). In più Solaris è molto più forte di quanto sembra. Sì, metto anche io Thanos su outerversal ma Sonic può andare su high outerversal sia per Solaris sia per la collab che ha fatto col gioco "Puyo Puyo" a gennaio dove ha sconfitto un dio di livello Boundless in forma base. In ogni caso ho preso la media dei feats sia di Sonic che di Thanos e ho fatto finire in pareggio ;D

I like to think Sonic in his Hyper form would win against Thanos. I would go into why I think that is, but a lot of people argue on the exact power levels of Sonic and his many forms. Plus, several people before me have made that argument many times; so I won't.
As good as that sounds from realistic stand point and scaling thanos in his base form casually defeats complex multiversal to hyperversal beings and with things like the infinity gauntlet, hotu and regulator, even outerversal beings become play things to him well except for infinity gauntlet since that can be overpowered easily, from my standpoint hyper sonic while pretty good doesn't actually stand a chance against the mad titan full power

Plus, we got to remember that Sonic grows stronger as time passes. Sure enough, ten years later, Sonic fought Infinite a being who previously nearly killed Sonic without breaking a sweat. Granted, he did have some help from the clones, but after a six month time-pass, Sonic had a one-on-one rematch with Infinite. While Sonic did stand a better chance, Infinite still beat him fairly easily. It was only with the help of the rookie that Sonic finally won. In order for ANY of that to be possible, Infinite's power must be LEAGUES above that of Erazor Djinn's. Now, you could make the argument that the strongest thing Infinite did was create a star which weakened him, but you have to remember that he not only regained his full power halfway through the fight but also was maintaining an entire army of clones of Shadow, Metal Sonic, Zavok, and Chaos 0. The game outright states that, while not the real deal, the clones are just as powerful as the originals. So when you factor in Zavok being maybe country level, Chaos 0 being around building or city level, and Shadow and Metal Sonic being able to match Sonic in power, that's a LOT of power Infinite's generating all at once. And ALL of this isn't even factoring in Sonic's Super and Hyper forms. So yeah, Thanos may be incredible, but Sonic is just several times beyond him.

I know sonic wins this one but basically, even though thanos has the advantage of snapping his fingers, some of sonics forms stop time, if he stops time, he can get enough blows on thanos, beating him. He also beaten demi-gods and gods, he can beat luffy as the enemies he faced before are no match for his strength, his best form is hyper because he can overcome speed itself. I also forgot about him being basically the BEST super smash bros character to play. Most of all, he is the most powerful to overcome multiverses if he wanted to. Don’t even think about shadow, he has many weaknesses, even though he has a stronger chaos control, sonic is the ultimate life form, Sorry shadow fans! By the way, if your wondering why I said sonic wins because of time, thanos has a time stone, although sonic still wins, because he can travel, stop time in many different ways, a good example are the time stones, they turn sonic into a miracle, or known as miracle sonic. Miracle sonic is basically time itself so thanos can’t stand a chance. Sorry marvel fans!
Although it's innacurate (because Thanos is way more powerful in the comics, also because Hyper Sonic was only canon in the Classic Sonic universe) I liked it, good job.
I can kinda agree and I actually thought that at first because the stronger sonic gets the stronger all his forms get as well, so a current sonic would put up a decent fight to Thanos and maybe even make him struggle but let's consider all of the powerful people Thanos has faced like Living Tribunal, Galactus, Dr. Doom, the Phoenix force, and other high tier entity cosmic forces, and survived and even won some of those encounters, so you have to consider that in as well, plus Thanos has the Infinity Gauntlet and Abstract Regulator to absorb literally anything in the universe so there's that as well, even though the Infinity Gauntlet will not work on Sonic because he can resist those haxes and over come them imo, he took on people like Solaris, Time Eater, Infinite, and Alf Wa Laya Layla and won against them, who destroyed and busted entire universes/dimensions just by transforming. Chaos Energy is unlimited/limitless, it's up the power of the wielder's imagination. I don't know too much about the Abstract Regulator tho.

Yes I knew Hyper Sonic would win. He defeated Thanos even with the astral regulator that he used to absorb all cosmic beings including the one above all. Non so se ce la faccio in questo periodo, un dibattito può prendere diverse ore, e non credo di averle da oggi in poi per un po' a causa dell'Università (ieri era Pasqua e quindi mi sono più rilassato). Comunque per quanto riguarda lo scaling cerco di fare veloce, uno dei principali problemi è che Thanos non è affatto più lento di Sonic, è in grado di competere con Thor che ha diverse feat immeasurable/irrelevant, un Chaos Control in grado di mandarlo in un altro multiverso non può fermarlo visto che Thanos può creare portali per altri universi/multiversi e viaggiare attraverso dimensioni con fisiche differenti o al di fuori della comprensione (subendo gli effetti di una sorta di reality warping e ricomponendosi solo per la sua forza di volontà), Hulk selvaggio che Thanos ha sconfitto più volte, ha combattuto contro DarkCrawler (che secondo i creatori della Marvel è una forma di vita superdimensionale non identificata, come Solaris) che ha affermato che Hulk è stato il suo più forte avversario e DarkCrawler/The Nightcrawler (si, anche loro sono indecisi sul nome) ha affrontato nemici di natura incomprensibile per la mente anche più di uno alla volta. Thanos con il guanto dell'infinito è in grado di battere più astratti cosmici alla volta, che anche sotto forma di avatar, rappresentano dei concetti o degli archetipi e in "Infinity Revelation" (mi pare fosse quel fumetto) ha fatto una feat che neanche eternità era in grado di fare, fixare la realtà facendo a pugni con Adam Warlock perché Thanos è apparentemente "all'infuori della norma" (qualsiasi cosa voglia dire). E in "Infinity relativity" sopravvive ad un attacco con la piena potenza del tribunale vivente Adam Warlock che, nonostante non fosse in grado di controllare appieno i poteri del tribunale, era stato in grado di tenere a bada più astratti cosmici e uccidere tutti gli eroi sulla terra, l'intera razza dei celestiali e Galactus (che ha diversi statement/feat che possono metterlo ad outerversal/high outerversal). E mi ha detto che Thanos in realtà non ha assorbito né Above All Others né Il Tribunale Vivente, ma che erano semplicemente M-Bodies (Frazioni della loro vera forma). In più Solaris è molto più forte di quanto sembra. Sì, metto anche io Thanos su outerversal ma Sonic può andare su high outerversal sia per Solaris sia per la collab che ha fatto col gioco "Puyo Puyo" a gennaio dove ha sconfitto un dio di livello Boundless in forma base. In ogni caso ho preso la media dei feats sia di Sonic che di Thanos e ho fatto finire in pareggio ;D

I like to think Sonic in his Hyper form would win against Thanos. I would go into why I think that is, but a lot of people argue on the exact power levels of Sonic and his many forms. Plus, several people before me have made that argument many times; so I won't.

As good as that sounds from realistic stand point and scaling thanos in his base form casually defeats complex multiversal to hyperversal beings and with things like the infinity gauntlet, hotu and regulator, even outerversal beings become play things to him well except for infinity gauntlet since that can be overpowered easily, from my standpoint hyper sonic while pretty good doesn't actually stand a chance against the mad titan full power

Plus, we got to remember that Sonic grows stronger as time passes. Sure enough, ten years later, Sonic fought Infinite a being who previously nearly killed Sonic without breaking a sweat. Granted, he did have some help from the clones, but after a six month time-pass, Sonic had a one-on-one rematch with Infinite. While Sonic did stand a better chance, Infinite still beat him fairly easily. It was only with the help of the rookie that Sonic finally won. In order for ANY of that to be possible, Infinite's power must be LEAGUES above that of Erazor Djinn's. Now, you could make the argument that the strongest thing Infinite did was create a star which weakened him, but you have to remember that he not only regained his full power halfway through the fight but also was maintaining an entire army of clones of Shadow, Metal Sonic, Zavok, and Chaos 0. The game outright states that, while not the real deal, the clones are just as powerful as the originals. So when you factor in Zavok being maybe country level, Chaos 0 being around building or city level, and Shadow and Metal Sonic being able to match Sonic in power, that's a LOT of power Infinite's generating all at once. And ALL of this isn't even factoring in Sonic's Super and Hyper forms. So yeah, Thanos may be incredible, but Sonic is just several times beyond him.

Infinite power being leagues beyond erazor djinn is highly debatable given his only noteworthy feats were beating sonic and creating a universe size realm also affecting the boundaries of dimesions all of which would only be universe+ to low multiversal at best
According to the game it was sun which drained most despite all those things created only the sun managed to actually drain it implying those other things take less energy to create than a sun
Clones being as powerful as the original doesn't make sense given regular mobians could take out and even one shot shadow clone who alone would be enough for most of knuckles army
As good as reading that was thanos in his base literally fodderize and fought people who make erazor djinn look no more than a clown, to put it into perspective erazor djinn pops a universe while people like Odin can pop a multiverse, sorry to say but thanod has the high ground here
I know sonic wins this one but basically, even though thanos has the advantage of snapping his fingers, some of sonics forms stop time, if he stops time, he can get enough blows on thanos, beating him. He also beaten demi-gods and gods, he can beat luffy as the enemies he faced before are no match for his strength, his best form is hyper because he can overcome speed itself.
I also forgot about him being basically the BEST super smash bros character to play.
Most of all, he is the most powerful to overcome multiverses if he wanted to.

By the way, if your wondering why I said sonic wins because of time, thanos has a time stone, although sonic still wins, because he can travel, stop time in many different ways, a good example are the time stones, they turn sonic into a miracle, or known as miracle sonic. I think the power levels here weren’t very accurate, I’m sure that super sonic is more than enough but besides that, Amazing animation!
I can kinda agree and I actually thought that at first because the stronger sonic gets the stronger all his forms get as well, so a current sonic would put up a decent fight to Thanos and maybe even make him struggle but let's consider all of the powerful people Thanos has faced like Living Tribunal, Galactus, Dr. Doom, the Phoenix force, and other high tier entity cosmic forces, and survived and even won some of those encounters, so you have to consider that in as well, plus Thanos has the Infinity Gauntlet and Abstract Regulator to absorb literally anything in the universe so there's that as well, even though the Infinity Gauntlet will not work on Sonic because he can resist those haxes and over come them imo, he took on people like Solaris, Time Eater, Infinite, and Alf Wa Laya Layla and won against them, who destroyed and busted entire universes/dimensions just by transforming. Chaos Energy is unlimited/limitless, it's up the power of the wielder's imagination. I don't know too much about the Abstract Regulator tho.
