Fantastic car! Simple! No computer, no sensors, no electronic nonsense! A 283cui v8 one of the best SBC engines made! Durable, simple, parts available for mods! They burned clean when tuned up! A real car! Nice body lines! This one is definitely a winner! Some lucky guy or gal will take this classic home!
The value of that car is it’s one of the most in demand vehicles from the 60s and its ragtop a fully restored car would be 100,000$ restomod 200,000$ .❤it
Ooh that Chevelle would look so nice with a white top & interior. A nice LS swap and some performance upgrades could make her stunning in every way ! Beautiful car…👍🏼
Why ruin that car with a LS swap . That 283 has been serving it's owners well for 57 years now , you will never get a LS to match that kind of service record .
@@bobbrinkerhoff3592 - The 283 is a great motor and if you wanted to keep it that’s your call.. Since its been changed already and all factory parts aren’t included I would take it to the next level

Sounds like someone doesn't know that manual transmissions had column shifters back in the good ol days, but definitely converted to a floor shifter 😅✌️

For the price,,,,,one hell of a deal,,,, for a car that almost 60 years old it's not bad at all but I'd do to it is drive it until I wear the tires out then put another set on it and keep it in the wind,,,,,,,thank you for y videos Nick
You can get a brand new Camaro or Mustang for 38 G’s that doesn’t pop outta gear or pull hard to the left, has brakes that stop on a dime, a working speedo, and a gas pedal that’s not taped on. And oh yeah they look great, sound great and are fun to drive…not that I want one and I’m not negative on old cars, I have one. The point is they’re 38 g’s for tangible reasons. I paid 7 grand for my Fiat 124 six months ago from a dealer. One of the last remaining good looking fun to drive convertibles you can buy for a reasonable price. In the same relative condition as this Chevy. Except it doesn’t pop outta gear.😅The exasperating issue is the price. Depending on what car you like, you either get a decent deal to have fun with or you get totally hosed. This isn’t a knock on Maple Motors. Dealers are dealers. They ask for what people will pay. That’s the problem. Too many people paying very high prices for hobby cars. I’m genuinely concerned. Too many enthusiasts are being knocked out of the hobby because of these prices. The hobby car world is outta sync. One day you’ll never see these cars again. They’ll all be squirrelled away in rich folks warehouses so they can stop by once a month to look at them. Is that going to be the new definition of an enthusiast? Doesn’t sound like a hobby to me. More like a hoarder. A hoarder with a lotta money. That’s where the hobby is headed. You’ll see. Maybe I’m just jealous I can’t afford these prices. But nope I’m not that kinda guy. Just a hobbyist without a warehouse. STOP paying stupid prices for old cars everybody. It’s screwing up a good thing.
@garycording5049 not quite clown. Had 3 camaros. Last one was a nightfall grey ss with sunroof. Drilled slotted rotors, flowmasters. Sold it back to dealership during covid for 30k after 4 yrs.Have an 84 c10 silverado and a 71 delta 88 convertible with headers, flowmasters, 455, new top, all original. Lmao. Thanks for playing though. 4 cars in my yard all run. 3 paid for. U definitely sound like one though on the low. I respect a man more who is honest and just says i cant afford it

Wow! Rare find rag top. If interest rates come down we can all benefit. Life was better several years ago. Maybe we can get back to that! Nice ride Nike.
Wow, nice car, she just needs a little love. Just seems a little low on the price especially a convertible Chevelle with a four speed. It'll sell fast!!

Nice color ! Thanks Nick 😊
Looks like it is converted from automatic on column to 4-speed. Not quite a compete/clean conversion. Pricey with a 283.

I’m betting your left front caliper is sticking, hence the pull to the left.
