Do the rescue contribute towards things like bedding/food? I was just thinking about how much bedding you must go through with each foster!
@@BeaAnimals They cover bedding (£14 per hamster) but I pay for everything else!
Hi ! Just wanted to ask if there is any way i can use timothy hay cause thats the only one available on the internet where i live ?and also how do you sanitise your seagrass thingies??😊
I believe Timothy hay is too sharp and could poke their eyes. You can spray with 50/50 white vinager and water and then bake for 5 mins in the oven at 120°C making sure it doesn't burn!

@@karenbrowne It's the Mewoofun cage, but I don't really recommend it as there's not a huge amount of ventilation, the plastic sides scratch easily, and it's tricky to fit a Syrian sized wheel in as well as 25cm of bedding.

Your white vinagre solution is done with a “regular” white vinagre used for food?

@@TheHamsterRoom I asked because in Spain is really common to add white vinagre in food and is also used to clean delicate stuff and I have a bottle at home so I don’t need to buy something different 🥰

Is 107 grams considered underweight for a Syrian? Especially a full grown one?
Ideally they'd be over 110g, however I can't easily feel his spine when I touch him (which is a sign of being underweight) so it looks like he's just a smaller hamster!
