Aww happy birthday bear he is so gorgeous! Ember and Rufus are roughly 2 1/2 now which is crazy but amazing 🎉 so lovely to be able to look after them for their life 🫶🏻 thank you Lord for these lovely animals. 💕

i thought the bare minumum was 450 sq?
That minimum was decided in 2015 based on the ikea samla bin that people used as bin cages so this wasn't based on any research. A study in 2007 shows that hamsters need at least 775squ inches but preferably 1550squ inches of floorspace 😊

Omg! You have fish also. Do you mind to share some care about it. We do have in home and I can say that it’s not that perfectly been taking care of. How to get rid of the algae the green one that it’s so fast to grow and long ones..Thank you!
If you have a light on the tank just turn it off and the algae will die. Or if you have it close to a window cover the glass with a book or anything to make it dark. After the algae dies make sure you do a water change so it doesn’t start to rot.

@@TheHamsterRoom What about in kg? Since I will be using chipsi and I am aiming to have 10-12 inches for 150x60 so it’s difficult to define if it’s kg 😅
