Yes, it still works, I'm doing it as I type up this comment, and If you haven't started PSO2 yet this will take some time..but it is faster and more effective than other options unless you're a vet player. TIP: EASIER TO DO IF YOU HAVE THREE CHARACTERS OR LESS.. I.E. I'm keeping my main and cycling the other two slots to grind for more.
Do story quest until episode 4, you'll get 3 creator's emblem and 1 phantasm emblem for exchanging some weapon camos from zig, if you decide to beat Phaleg S rank (one of the hard content) you'll get another phantasm emblem.
On the bright side, your alternate character will get a boost to lvl20 straight away if your main had done most of the main and story quests, giving free exp to your alt char and you barely need to go expedition. Also, you can even do the same quest again to collect 60+ photon spheres so you can trade for better wep camos such as the autumn leaf katana that costs 20 photon boosters
@@jakielou1884 additionally, doing story quest would reward you star gems, I would suggest to do hardcore so that you can get titles to earn the star gems from there. that way, you can play scratch tickets and get premium costumes from there. So far, I have gotten plenty of really nice ones and I'm satisfied though the parts are really rng and not tradable
@@changjueren7 thanks! I ended up grinding anyway and honestly I had fun with base game. I didn't even know about the titles and got enough for the leaf of autumn breeze. Didn't even realize I had so many star gems either lol. It wasn't as bad as I thought tbh took a few hours but it feels good now that I have it!
There are those 20 cost ones in the shop too, the best way to get those quickly is to level another character to 20 and do the auxiliary quest to get another 60 and just transfer it to your storage to use. Kind of a quick way to get those skins since you can also delete those characters, wait the 24hrs and do it again.
Now a twist: * You are given 2 1m EXP tickets which can help you jump through levels. Just use them when you get access to your subclass instead of dropping one of them immediately like I did. * Run at least one silver key and one rainbow key to get yourself a decent weapon and armor. * Advanced quests (those with a timer and accessible by using special item given from some quests) drop Photon Boosters like candy. I got 40+ from a SINGLE run which I failed, BTW. Apparently if you run into level 60+ dungeon with undergeared level 50 character... you may not like some boss attacks. I mean, they one-shot you and you can't re-enter these quests, so if you don't have revives you are done. So, while turning spheres into boosters works it's actually really easy to get them all.
Another thing worth mentioning (sadly I'm unsure of namew because it's been a while since I've been in PSO2) but in the Stone Exchange in the Red Light Exchange Area ya can use the Tokyo Key Stones and trade for Photon Boosters as well. Provided ya have done lots of Tokyo Key runs you can get lots of boosters this way

@@thathomiefox If you haven't used them, they may be still in their coupon state so you can check in your consumables tab.. if you have used them, its probably in the salon already but do bare in mind that not all cosmetics from base PSO2 is compatible with NGS body so the option to use it may be greyed out
I did everything you said and I never got any quest rewards, nothing ever popped up and I rewatched the video multiple times to see if I missed something.
I believe that was from an old scratch ticket, as the Twin Kamui outfit did. If not from that, then probably from a colab that is probably never coming back. Try your luck in the PSO2 market though I guess. Good luck though because over here on ship 4 most of the stuff I'd consider good is already gone.

There's a weird bug in the game right now with camos I'm experiencing. I got to equip it twice before the model updates and multi weapon camos only work for the first weapon it was equipped for.
Umm from the camo I see that most of them are melee weapons(maybe I'm blind), and I'm guessing there's none for tmg? New to this ngs thing and I tried pso2 but got hooked on the casino instead hehe
There are weapons from the same NPC that have different variants! Don't worry :D Nolnir Sword for example, has a rifle version with a different design and pewpews

The title kinda misleading if we read it wrongly haha, the guide to get camo is under 4 minute but for us to get the camo weapon it takes hours

if you unlock the advance quest, you can get atleast 25 photon boosters per run
Im actually having fun playing base pso2 while waiting for NGS content. So in the long run ill get those camos

Advance capsule give you a ton but you need 70k and be lvl 55+ to get a lot I think
The bonus just showed me everything that I had or the basic stuff for the base customization
For NGS players, they never had most of those costumes, especially the CAST parts

My quest didn’t progress after I spoke to Astarte and got no photon spheres and can’t see the quest in quests or client orders
Astarte > Cofy > Complete Quest > Make Auxiliary

zig has weapon camos u can get by clearing the story quests

They're camos that reskin every weapon to that style, so if it's a blue glowy sword chances are you'll get blue glowy guns

Yes it does! Use your main character, it will be fine. Just log in to NGS, go to the Ryuker device, select Transfer block and then choose PSO2 Block
