Thanks a lot!! To think that I started learning Russian one year ago and I found your podcast and videos, and I wasn't able to understand much for a while. But now I understood every single thing you said. Thanks thanks thanks a lot! ♥
Хай Дарья! Very interesting apartment. Love those loft sleeping nooks - perfect to curl up with some of that classic literature ... with someone on hand to replenish tea and nibbles at regular intervals! 😄 Спасибо большое for sharing with us! До скорой встречи! 🙂
i managed to follow a bit of your tour, and was amused to notice the "russianised" european languages terms (not just english) --which made understanding easier. very enjoyable!

Wow, so creative! Most flats for rent usually look like babushka`s ones 😂😀 And this one is a real work of art! You can never get bored in it with all these books!
(Please correct any mistakes!)
I was trying to get a feel for the use of cases with names of authors and actors as you used in this video. Think I’ll watch a few more times. I’m trying to just understand how each use “feels” in use. Thanks!
Home is aesthetic and traditional Russian from what I've seen here in YT. I love the bedroom with books since I'm a voracious reader myself. I just finished Dostoevsky's Brothers Karamazov last month and I must say it is a great book! It speaks a lot of the culture and life in Russia at that time. It has a depressing tone though. Recommended for anyone who want to read Russian literature. Of course, I read the English version.
Hi I am from the India. Started learning Russian. Your way of teaching is very good esp for beginners. I wanted to take online classes. Let me know if you teach online and the fee structure and other details. Thanks. You are doing a great job.
What’s the difference between знаменитый and известный? Is the former used to describe people (animate) and the latter for places, things, etc. (inanimate)? Thanks!

@@RealRussianClub yeah that one thanks.
Интересный дом!
да, очень классный:)

What is the difference between 'снять квартиру' and 'сдать квартиру'?
"Снять квартиру" means rent an apartment, but "сдать квартиру" is when you are owner of apartment and somebody rent it. May be "give for a rent".
So the word так I'm confused is it used for like well so an and? That's what I was seeing in the English subtitles
sometimes :) it has several meanings
Please launch learning app and give small lessons. Give words to learn and give sentences made from these words. This will help fast learning.

I'd say that mostly they are used as synonyms, but известный also means something just known by everyone, not necessarily popular
Thank you, Darya. That REALLY helped fine-tuned their main difference!
