He didn’t say that because he disagrees with the action. He said that to make it harder for the tattoo artists to get the people to change their mind or being open to different ideas so that he could try to ensure each person got the challenge he was trying to set them up with so that hopefully they would fail, like he wanted. Of course he’s not above trying to change someone’s mind if I’ll be better for him if he’s down to do whatever to make the other artist’s job harder so that he can, in his mind, succeed.
Im just wondering…. Why would you want a clone trooper in front of the imperial cog instead of: 1. Clone trooper in front of a republican cog, 2. Stormtrooper infront of an imperial cog???
That clone trooper is one of the clones that were part of the legion executing the Jedi right at the start of Order 66. So having the Imperial Cog works on account of them no longer serving the Republic, but a new Empire.
Does anyone think it’s messed up that people purposely give artists a canvas (human being) who they think will be extremely difficult for them so that they’re hopefully fail when this is a permanent tattoo going onto a person’s body? Like, sure, you can try to get it covered or fixed. Sure, there’s laser removal… but neither of those options promise a great result. So, basically, they’re putting these people at risk of getting a bad tattoo on purpose. That’s pretty unethical and sick if you ask me.
U r completely wrong. The canvases no 100% what situation they r going into. So if they do get a shit tattoo then I have no sympathy for them. They chose to go there & get a free tattoo so they have no rite to complain. That rite there is exactly why I will never get a free tattoo. Because if it’s free then u can’t complain that it’s bad. That’s why it’s free
It would've been nice if I could've seen the others Celtic tattoos ...kinda ruins it that you cant, Even one to compare with judges choice would've been nice.
I wish they showed the other tattoo that impressed the judges when they said that cuz Joey's Celtic tattoo was awesome and Tatu Baby's Yoda tattoo was damn near perfect
@@NP148 I find the show is more about the judges than the tattoos. It ruins the show when we ( the watchers) can't see which tattoo WE like, but are instead limited to some other persons choice.
Anyone notice that the Star Wars tattoo is a clone wars era 501 clone trooper in front of the imperial logo? It still is cool but none of the judges caught the lore time clash!
To be fair, it's perfectly reasonable. It's not as if the clone troopers disappeared with the establishment of the Empire as they were being phased out after the Clone Wars, not replaced in a single day. Hell, they even are mentioned as Clone Stormtroopers in canon, being renamed from Clone Troopers right from the formation of the Empire. To perfectly nerd out: The Empire was established 19BBY, the cloning facilities on Kamino shut down 12 BBY during the Kaminoan rebellion, and mistrust in the whole army being from one genetic template was what actually caused the Empire to shift to the "regular" Stormtroopers. During that transition the remaining clones gradually swapped out their Phase II armor for the classic stormtrooper army, too, and non-clone Stormtroopers, according to sources, only became the majority of Stormtroopers very shortly before the Battle of Yavin - so there's a good chance quite a few of the guys who got smoked during the boarding of the Tantive IV were actually clones. Besides: It's a 501st guy. Damn well those guys would be around after the Empire was formed and did its re-branding.
As a Star Wars fan, that Star Wars episode hurt, first you use the imperial logo with a REPUBLIC 501st clone trooper? Then you put a tie fighter in the tattoo? Then you hit the “these aren’t the droids you’re looking for” line?
The 501st was Darth Vaders personal battalion, also the clones were according to bad batch and numerous other sources the predecessors of the stormtroopers
“Does THIS look like a guy that went to college” that made me laugh hella hard
Clint: "Too many artists talk their canvas down, I don't do that."
Clint later this season: "Hey, I get what you're going for, but..."

@bunnylacy2097 I get how the game is played, bro. I just try to point out hypocrisy where I find it. It's a good habit to build in my experience.
That Star Wars tattoo looks sick 🙌

I thought the same. Very weird choice.

Order 66 reference?
I am not knowing anything of the lore LOL
As the mighty ogre said so long ago..."Neeeeerds!"

play stupid games, win stupid prizes.
The artists on Ink Masters are amazing
Some yes but definitely not all lol
Some are absolute artists and some... well, not so much. 😅
jerrel is one of my favourite artists throughout this entire series. the way he carries himself as an artist and a human being is comendable :)
0:22 it’s supposed to be “Season 2, Episode 7, ‘Star Wars Forever’”
I don't like people huvvering when I'm doing a tattoo.

Star Wars fell off when Disney bought it

Always love it how Sarah is a tattoo artist but only has 1 tattoo herself or smt. Regardless of that, her tattoo was sick!
Oliver Perk is not part of these replays. Only commenting on the background
Yea bc people got butthurt when he did a black face/body thing
I dont think it was even recent either....so stupid

I mean, to be fair order 66 did happen, it's not like the clone troopers just disappeared completely after the clone wars
